Means of Grace: Colossians The Bible and Slavery Colossians 3:22-4:1 1. Only the biblical Gospel makes slavery morally unthinkable. 2. The biblical Gospel empowers and gives hope to the powerless. 3. Both the powerful and the powerless need to receive the biblical Gospel.

The Means of Grace: Colossians Christian Counter-Culture: Wives and Husbands Colossians 3:17-21 1. The Lord gives the wife the quest to submit to her husband, but the husband is not given the power to command. Christian, you walk in the dying days of the doomed dragon, so remember - you have been filled in Christ, in Whom the whole fullness of deity dwells.
