Christmas is coming, with all the parties, decorations, carols, lines, traffic, credit cards and crowds. At a time where we should be focused on the reason of the season, we’re lost in the crazy rush of trying to go everywhere and seem stuck overspending on everything. We spend over one trillion dollars globally each year at Christmas! An entire world drowning in the same debt, and before we know it ‘Merry Christmas’, becomes ‘Buried Christmas’. We have to ask: is it really worth it? Is it possible that buried under all that Christmas chaos lies something greater? 2000 years ago, God launched a conspiracy to save the world when He sent Jesus as helpless baby instead of a conquering king. Jesus came to walk, grieve and celebrate with us, and he’s still here with us today! Christmas begins and ends with Jesus, so let’s worship Him fully this Christmas, and love as He’s loved us. This year let’s spend less and give more of ourselves as we conspire together to spread Jesus’ love!

Next He invited them to watch and learn by "Following" Him. He challenged them to think beyond themselves as He promised to make them "Fishers of Men" before issuing HIs most challenging command to go and "Bear much fruit". Jesus lived out his strategy to show us how to share our lives with others and to teach them to do the same. Join us this Sunday as we explore what Jesus had in mind when He called us to “Make Disciples".

If there is one word that sums up Christianity, it might be ‘Giving.’ This is of course, inspired by the best known verse in the Bible, John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Giving and generosity are at the core of the Gospel message. We give because we have been given much. In this 3 week study, we'll learn how to move from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset. It highlights how generosity and giving are foundational parts of who we are as a Church and as Christians—because of what God did for us, this is what we do.
