  FP and LP are back on to preview the Redskins and Rams. Today marks exactly 20 years since the FedEx field has opened. The Redskins at 79-81-1 during their 20 year tenure at FedEx field. LP is annoyed at Redskins fans reaction after their season opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. FP things Redskins fans are justified because of all they had to put up with. FP defends Dan Snyder as he has been surprisingly silent and allowing the front office to run the team. There are many coaching ties between the Redskins and the Rams, where FP and LP discuss who has the coaching edge. A special Patriots Day episode of D.T.C. remembering all those impacted by 9/11 here in DC and beyond. The Nationals have won the NL East for the fourth time in six years and all eyes now turn to the postseason! The Nats didn’t just take care of business, they did in historical fashion locking up the NL East in record time (fastest in 15 years) and well, who cares that the NL East is historically bad, we are going to the playoffs! Stevie and Joe talk all things Nats including how amazing Trea Turner is playing (as if he hasn’t missed any time), when/if Bryce will return, and which opponent would you rather not see in the postseason; D’backs, Cubs, Brewers, Dodgers… Cardinals. The Nats aren’t streaking, they are just plain great, and the numbers don’t lie. The pitching rotation is tops in MLB and at any time the bats can explode too. The Eagles came into FEDEX and beat the Redskins today and Stevie and Joe are not happy about it! The Skins offense started slow (again) and well, never really found their groove. The running game struggled, special teams too, however the defense was a positive bright spot... at least Joe thinks so. FP is pissed that Sua has left the team and Stevie doesn't really care but thinks the timing is really bad. LP thinks everyone is basing their assessments of Cravens on potential and the desire to find the next Sean Taylor (RIP 21)... The DTC crew in typical Redskins-fan style lower their expectations after a poor preseason heading into Week 1. Is the team collapsing under the weight of fan expectations or are fans just expecting too much? Fantasy Football Season is here! The DTC boys are joined by David, 20, and Razzle to execute a mock six-round 10-team PPR draft with Joe and Stevie providing color commentary along the way. FP, LP, David, 20, and Razzle each drafted two teams and the results were mixed. FP put together two solid rosters while LP, David, and Razzle, put together one strong and one average roster. 20 however ended up with two really bad rosters... but that's ok, because every league has one of "those guys" right? Joe shared his thoughts on several players not drafted in the top 60 and Steve provided some strategy insights into the best course of attack to build a winning roster... the irony of course being Steve is one of the worst fantasy football players of all-time. This show was a lot of fun and the analysis provided throughout will prove to be helpful to all fantasy players as we head into the long fantasy-draft-holiday-weekend! Listen, comment, and share! Game of Thrones Season Finale Podcast is here! Stevie, FP, and Joe break down all 73mins of awesomeness in the finale of the course of this special edition, extended podcast. So many twists in turns along the way leading to ALL of the main characters of the show finally ending up in the same place at the same time and the scene didn't disappoint! *Spoilers Here* While Stevie and FP give the episode an A (and the season a B-) Joe was more disappointed in the finale due to what he calls the "sloppy timing" and "unnecessary plot extensions" which he explains in full. Well, Kyrie is a Celtic, and Crowder is a Cavalier, and that means the Wizards will win the Eastern Conference this season! LP and Joe break down all the details of the trade and project forward about how the Wizards actually improved by default by doing nothing! Boston has now traded five of their top seven scorers from last year and their three best perimeter defenders while acquiring more offensive firepower with Hayward and Irving. The Cavaliers however now have some insurance parts in place just in case LeBron decides to leave Cleveland for a second time and a very high first round pick as well! Special guest Monica B from Cleveland joins the duo to explain why everything in Cleveland isn't so bad even if James does leave next year... The Nationals are still missing key players but they are getting closer to a full "stud" lineup (6m-11) and Dusty continues to work his magic with the roster day in and day out (11m-14). The Redskins came out of the gate flat in week one of the NFL preseason. Another week of practice, more defined expectations and the hope for a successful first drive are things we want to see week two against Greenbay. The Redskins came out flat against the Ravens (:1-:930) and the guys wonder why and if Training Camp has something to do with it (:11-:14). The slow starts are problematic and have becoming a defining negative feature of Jay Gruden's tenure (:15-:23) so the fellas offer a few suggestions to get the team out of the gate with a bang to start the season. The schedule isn't ideal for the Skins this year (:24-:31) with so many primetime games that the team MUST start fast in hopes of a split over the last six games at the end of the season. Will Kap or RG3 land on a team this season (:32-:39), plus, in a rare political exchange, the boys talk very openly and honestly about the events in Charlottesville over the past few days (:40-:47).... so much going on... listen and share! The Nationals can't seem to get everything going in the same direction at the same time. This may have been the shortest episode at just 50 minutes long but the plot lines of several main characters didn't just inch forward, they leaped ahead! While the Mother of Dragons and Tyrion believe they have have authored the perfect battle plan to rebound from Yara Greyjoy's defeat last week the tables turn yet again as Jamie and Cersei prove yet again they are capable of outsmarting their brother. This episode had a little bit of everything and a lot of interesting twists and tidbits to dive deeper into. Casterly Rock may have fallen to Grey Worm but Yuron has the last laugh yet again while we say goodbye to another beloved character in Olenna Tyrell who met her doom but not without some final parting shots!
