Stevie and Joe talk about the Nationals big win off the big bat of recently called up Andrew Stevenson, if the season is actually over, and if the manager is safe while looking forward to next season... although Steve is in denial and still believes the Nats have something left. The boys also discuss if Mad Max can maintain his form for one or two more seasons, what may happen with Harper, and expectations for Strassie as he takes the mound again tonight. The show concludes with a pointed discussion on both the Ohio State and Maryland football situations with Urban and DJ in the spotlight and what may/should happen moving forward and why both stories will impact football long term!

Don't look now but the Redskins have added pro-bowler Adrian Peterson to the RB depth chart after being "blown-away" by his conditioning. LP, FP, Stevie, Joe, and special guest Razzle talk about all things Redskins from AP to WR's to season expectations. The boys discuss the pending trades the Nationals have out for Murph and Harp and if manager Davie Martinez will return next season. The Washington #Redskins have ended training camp and are set to face the Jets on Thursday night August 16th 2018. Many position battles will likely playout in real-time on the national stage and we will be watching! Which RB's will emerge as true options for this offense? The Redskins fall to the Patriots but more importantly Derrius Guice falls to an ACL injury and is out for the season. Manny has years of insider access and knows the halls of Redskins Park better than most and he shares his thoughts on the Redskins skill positions, rookies, and veterans to keep an eye on as well. The defense is improved, but by how much? The tight-end position is the exact same for a third year straight... is that ok? The running back position is wide open... or is #29 locked in to start? Who is going to play the slot and what can we expect from Doctson? +FP and LP debate if the Redskins will win 10 games or 11, and Joe shares his thoughts on a few other teams that have caught his eye including the Rams and Browns. Don't look now, but the NBA offseason is absolute insantiy. Kawhi wants to go from Spurs to Lakers ends up north of the border with the Raptors and now Carmelo is headed to the Dirty-South ATL for a weekend before getting paid $27.3m and likely ending up in either LA or Miami...but one of the boys thinks he may end up in Golden State! We all saw it coming but did we really? Canada, LP, and Joe discuss the offseason and talk about the league at large plus some Wizards chatter too! Tune in and share!

The World Cup Finale is just days away and the roundtable is back to talk about the entire event spanning the last month and share opinions on who is likely to win and why. France is loaded with talent, but Croatia seems to rise to every occasion! John, Dan, Sam, Mat, and Joe also discuss the rising and falling stars in the world of soccer, expectations for the third place contest on Saturday and if Wayne Rooney will have a positive impact on our local team here in DC with the opening of their new venue just days away. The boys also debate why their favorite league is the best (La Liga vs EPL is always and intense screaming match) and share some thoughts on what we can all do to fill our time when the soccer ends.

Stevie and Joe are back from vacation and getting caught up on all things sports and all things DC! And to cap the show, is there is a really chance that Lebron would come play for the Wizards or is that just nonsense to fill the airwaves becuse the Nationals are playing some terrible baseball? ... World Cup 2018 has started! LP and Joe are joined by Dan, Sam, Sany and Mat the Met to break down every group and discuss who may be there when the dust settles in a few weeks. Does Spain need a manager? Can Messi or CR7 carry their teams to the promised land? Does the youth movement in England have enough to challenge the super-powers? Well, that was not interesting at all. The Warriors defeated the Cavs in straight sets to win the NBA Finals and bring the NBA season to a close. In DC, we have been consumed by all things NHL and Capitals to the point that many of us didn't actually watch Game 4 of the NBA Finals until several days after it actually happened... but did anyone really see this ending differently? Justin "JusBlaze" joins Joe to put a bow on the NBA season and talk a little but about what could have been and what may be by the time the summer ends and the new season begins. Are the Warriors a dynasty? Is there such a thing in the modern NBA? Could Durant leave the Bay Area for LA? Might Paul George, LeBron, or a few Spurs join him there? The Washington Capitals are Stanley Cup Champions! We did it DC, the curse has been defeated! After 26 long years our city has a title to celebrate and what a celebration it is going to be! Listen to FP, LP, Stevie, and Joe recap this historic night and what it means for DC! In the words of Charlie Slowes "remember where you are, so you can remember where you were!" The #Caps have done it... are the #Nationals next?! 

The #Capitals are just one win away from history. #Vegas outplayed DC in the first frame but had nothing to show for it, in fact they were down 3-0 after 20 minutes with nothing breaking their way. LP, FP, Stevie, and Joe are on the pod to discuss the big win, heroes and zeros and talk specifics as to why Coach B deserves praise and Holtby should kiss the post and say thanks again! DSP scored again, Tommy scored, and the entire team played relaxed and did what few thought they would... winning two on home ice and shifting ALL the pressure to the #Knights with game 5 looming on Thursday night. This is it DC, we are one game away from a title! One game away from Defeating The Curse! 

Time for a little week in review... Stevie and Joe discuss the #Nationals and #MadMax surging and find themselves in first place in the NL East (or close to it)... JR Smith is an idiot that is too stupid to point-shave and we feel a little bad for #Lebron... #Capitals are bringing the noise to DC for Game3 on Saturday night and rumor has it 20 bald eagles will carry the flag to center ice before the puck drops... plus, #RumpMeetsTrump and the disaster that is Disney/ESPN and their hiring of Keith Olbermaan and firing of Roseanne Barr... plus a whole lot more.

Well, that was awkward... Lebron has 51 points, JR Smith can't read, victory to the Warriors, and they may win this series in three games! There are no words to describe the actions and lack of awareness displayed by JR Smith.. only meme's (ThxTwitter). Kevin Love showed he still has fight in him, but ultimately the Cavs came up short in overtime. The Warriors had stunning performances from their studs and look in command of the series. LP, Canada, and Joe breakdown game one and discuss adjustments both teams should look to make before game two and figure out how and what to do with JR Smith because his situation is terrible. + Mo Salah cleared for the World Cup, Twitter burn accounts, and a random Mystics schedule update.
