Well, friends, we have reached our final episode of 2025 and the final installment of the Prisoners of Time comic book adventure! This time we have a fairly flimsy 9th Doctor story that really only seems there to reveal who our villain is. Then we join Ten and Martha in Los Angeles and places John has actually been! And instead of learning if the Frogmen the 11th Doctor is dealing with are the same ones from the Loveland, Ohio sightings, we start down an increasingly bonkers adventure in the last two stories! It's a wild ride and we are here for it!! Also, thanks for listening to us in 2025. We're excited to pull our makeshift TARDIS out of mothballs in early 2026 to jump forward to when Disney surely will air The War Between the Land and the Sea so we can review it for you in January!

This time we continue on with Prisoners of Time! Chapters 5 through 8 in which we wonder many things! We wonder why the 5th Doctor appears to be 12 years old. We wonder where this bad ass 6th Doctor has been all our lives. We wonder if it's okay to go absolutely swoon city over a cartoon Ace. And we wonder why McDonalds hasn't brought back Mac Tonight.

Well, here's something new, friends! We're reviewing a comic book Doctor Who story! Well, stories would be more accurate because Prisoners of Time was originally a year-long 12 issue miniseries from IDW to celebrate Doctor Who's 50th anniversary. We read the first four issues (chapters) and talked about what we liked and didn't like.

Much like GTA6 and Marvel 1943 - YaketyCAST pushed back this episode by a number of weeks. But never fear, they're back with a vengeance! John discusses RedSec, ARC Raiders, and FFVII Rebirth. Ernesto and Tramell have been running the gauntlet of television as they have reviews for Welcome to Derry, Gen V, DMV, The Chair Company, AND Chad Powers! John cannot stop talking about how great the new The Best of The Worst album is, and they discuss all of the latest movie news. All this and more on this week's episode!

Friends, we are firmly entrenched in Fall and it's high time we finally review Riley Silverman's "Dark Watchers of California" from Big Finish! Susie, fleeing a traumatic experience back in San Francisco, heads south to Big Sur (circa 1966...sur-ca, maybe?), but not only is she being pursued by the law, but she's also seeing the legendary Dark Watchers in the woods around her cabin. While on a hike, she crosses paths with The Doctor and Bill. Can our Team TARDIS help Susie fend off Finch and heal herself as well?

Not one, not two, but nearly a half dozen different types of oddball uprights in this woman's neighborhood in Santa Cruz. Were they really there? Was her street suddenly Grand Central Station for weirdness? And does Santa Cruz's proximity to where the 37th parallel hits North America have anything to do with it? Bonus! What happens when two American fans of a British science fiction show get their British friend to fan cast a fictional America season of the British show complete with American actors? Chaos. You get absolute chaos! This time, we're join by Ben Paddon who's sci-fi audio series Jump Leads starts its second season on October 31st!

After an extremely long Pop Rock bender YaketyCAST has returned! This week Ernesto and John are once again joined by Tramell! Movie reviews? We've got them - Godzilla: Final Battle, Tron, Tron: Legacy, Tron: Ares, Play Dirty, and One Battle After Another! John continues his insane gauntlet of video games as he talks about finishing Silent Hill f and Final Fantasy VII Remake! We loved Peacemaker Season 2, but did we enjoy the ending? Tramell and Ernesto have been watching Chad Powers, do they recommend it or not? Find out all of this and try to answer the question: Just where the heck do you get ring pops in the year 2025!?

This time we continue down the rabbit hole of Doctor Who that Could Have Been but Never Was and take a peek inside the Leekley Bible (no, that's not the one in your motel room nightstand!) that would have potentially been made into the 8th Doctor's first season on Fox here in America had the TV movie done better than it did. Let's just say that the classic stories chosen to be remade and updated to that 90s American TV sensibility...well, they were some interesting choices!

This week on YaketyCAST we find out what the 'f' in SILENT HILL f stands for, and naturally it's for FRED SAVAGE. Ernesto and John discuss a whole bunch of video game trailers that came out of the Playstation State of Play last week including WOLVERINE. They both saw ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER and give their full review of it, and they also discuss the trailer for THE BRIDE. PEACEMAKER episode 6 was absolutely WILD, and Ernesto gives us his thoughts on the two latest episodes of ALIEN: EARTH and THE LOWDOWN. Plus a bunch of music recommendations and GAMESTOP shenanigans!

Friends, we have been talking about this idea for at least a year and now we are finally here. EPISODE 350!! In this episode, we each pick three unproduced Doctor Who stories, flesh them out, fancast them, and pitch them to each other. This was so much fun to pull together and record! A couple days late, but worth the wait! As we reach the cusp of episode 350, we first look at the Jon Pertwee story Colony in Space. It's a little bit of a middling story, but there are some notable firsts, some great action, and a surprising amount of shoot outs!

The dynamic duo of YaketyCAST is back! This week John tells us about ALL FIVE of the video games he's completed since the last recording! Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 1 - 4! Ernesto saw CAUGHT STEALING and THE TOXIC AVENGER this week and he gives you hefty reviews on both! There were a ton of trailers to talk about including 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, The Black Phone 2, and Nuremberg! Everyone loves Gumby, right? That adorable though oddly shaped clay scamp who's always getting up to adventures with his friends? So what happened one episode in 1988 when Gumby encountered the grays!? Yes, this month we're looking at 7 minutes of UFO and alien lore expertly crammed into a single Gumby story. Did Clokey have an encounter of his own? Could Communion have influenced this story? And what the heck does DMT have to do with any of it! Also, Programming Note, because of life and various other things, we're having to move to record every other month. We're bummed to be doing fewer episodes, but it does give us time to do more research! So, see you in November!

This time we continue our escape into Classic Doctor Who with the 2nd Doctor adventure The Moonbase! One half animated, one half live action, we find ourselves on the moon in 2070 where a single base with a single Graviton beam is somehow controlling all the weather on Earth! This definitely feels like a situation where redundancies would have been helpful. But the Cybermen are back and poisoning sugar in order to take over the base and let Earth's weather go wacky and kill us all. Yeah, that seems like a strange plan, but at least the Cybermen know that we all love sugar way too much!

The rag tag hosts of YaketyCAST are back this week and they're joined once again by Tramell! This week our trio talk about a whole bunch of movies they've seen over the past couple of weeks: The Naked Gun, Weapons, Sketch, Shin Godzilla, and unfortunately WAR OF THE WORLDS! John finished like fifteen video games from last record and he gives his thoughts on those. Tramell lets us know how great TWISTED METAL SEASON 2 has been, and Ernesto lets us know if the new season of KING OF THE HILL holds up to the original. All this plus COSTCO and TACO BELL talk!
