Synopsis

Welcome to the You've Never Seen That Podcast. The show where two dudes who thought they watched a lot of television, are proven wrong. Each week hosts Bellamy and Mike watch a random episode of a random season of a pre-determined show that they have never seen a single episode of and discuss their thoughts after. How wrong are they? Usually pretty wrong.

Episodes

  • S1 Ep 13 - The Good Wife [S2 Ep 20 - Foreign Affairs]

    19/09/2016 Duration: 01h31min

Well this certainly was an interesting adventure for Bellamy and I. For the first time ever we've come across a show that we unanimously agree on as being "maybe good" or "potentially not bad" or  "I think I might like it?". Check it out and hear us dissect The Good Wife as we try hard to figure out if this show is another one of Ridley Scott's amazing brainchildren or just a show that isn't as bad as some of the shows we've watched. We ask all the hard hitting questions like "Is Peter Sauron?", "Why is Grandma Florrick such a Good Ol Drunk?", and "Why do all these actors always looks like other actors, but then not be those actors?" We sing a couple rousing renditions of our new smash hit "Political Lawyers" off our album entitled "The Good Wife" set to drop this October from Empire Entertainment, discuss our merchandising needs, and discuss our desire to return to an age of euphemism innocence. If you're a fan of our comedic jackassery, please link, share, subscribe, because we sure all your friends could s

  • S1 Ep 12 - Desperate Housewives [S6 Ep 1 - Nice is Different Than Good]

    12/09/2016 Duration: 01h33min

Yo fam. We have been DYING to do the Desperate Housewives episode and HERE IT IS! Jaunt along with us to Wysteria Lane (which Haase totally forgets and then remembers) as we enter a world of what we think may actually be brilliantly humorous satire. It also might just be terrible. We're not sure. Still a little shaken from the Hitchcok-lisque twists and turns of Bates Motel. We have some very important questions like "Will Katherine ever be sane again?", "Is Danny Douche Hair as awful, or worse, than we think?" and "Where exactly are the Bolen's from, and why can't Haase do a consistent accent of them?" It's a good time guys, but you already know that's in store when you click the download button. If you dig our show please share it with friends and family, maybe a well placed Facebook link, or a billboard on the 405, we're not picky. Either way, enjoy.  Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 11 - Bates Motel [S1 - Ep 7 The Man in Number 9]

    05/09/2016 Duration: 01h38min

Funny innit, that one of the running jokes of this podcast is our continual descent into madness and loosing our minds and what do you know, our newest pursuit is a show all about losing your mind. We're so meta, aren't we? Check out Bates Motel with us as Haase gets way too excited about Hitchcock and the art of a tale and intentionally leaving your audience without any real closure or clarity. We lament Gene Wilder, refer to Freddy Hightower as "The wiener kid from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Baby Psycho, and talk about the quality of storytelling in truly suspenseful writing. Managing to have an episode sans any cat wrangling or similar debaccles we go in depth into the world of suspense thrillers and a prequel that actually doesn't do a disservice to it's namesake. Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 10 - Empire [S1 - Ep 5 Dangerous Bonds]

    29/08/2016 Duration: 01h33min

Hakeem, Andre, and Jamal, who will win, who will lose, who's track is the most lit, who's hot fire will reign supreme? Try and guess along with us as we watch the hit entertainment drama Empire. This week we look deeply into the world of producing insane music videos, laying down sick beats at Ghetto Ass Studios, and beefing hard all in the family. We also wrangle a cat, yell quite a bit, and even hit the Ham Horn a couple of times. Arguably one of the best shows we've watched and maybe one of the most ridiculous ones we've recorded, we hope you all enjoy hearing about Empire as much as we enjoyed talking about it.  Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 9 - Suits [S6 Ep 2 - Accounts Payable]

    22/08/2016 Duration: 01h36min

Alright everybody, SUIT UP! Ahhh... I've been waiting a whole week to type that. Check it out this week as we pretend to know what the hell is happening in ABC... wait... USA's Suits. We discuss Bellamy's slow descent into a bitter madness, our newest corporate sponsors, and whether or not we even have a fanbase. As far as the show Suits goes, we discuss what it means to gain leverage in the fast paced world of law, that one show where everyone tries to get leverage on one another (A common theme in this episode even if I can't remember the name of that show), and some good natured bleed over of our hatred of Katherine Heigl. Make sure to leave a review on iTunes or share our podcast with your friends if you like it, and if you don't, throw your phone or tablet out the window, and or set it on fire to ensure you never have to listen to us again.   Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 8 - Grey's Anatomy [S3 Ep 18 - Scars and Souvenirs]

    15/08/2016 Duration: 01h36min

Join us at Seattle Grace hospital where we realize the world of doctors, or at least those portrayed in medical drama's from the mid two thousands is just a bunch of super smart, super horny doctors, doing their best to be, super horny, super smart doctors. Find out how much we do or don't know about Mc-anything and take a romp through our mutual dislike of Katherine Heigl while we try and figure out just what the hell is going on at Seattle's top hospital. If you're exhausted from your excursion this week, feel free to check into the Grey Garden's bed and breakfast and receive 20 percent off your room and stay by using the promo codes "You've Never Seen That" and/or "Hornydoctors".   Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 7: Bones [S4 Ep 2 - The Man in the Outhouse]

    08/08/2016 Duration: 01h23min

B-b-bones y'all! No, Halloween didn't come early, we just watched an episode of the quirky fox detective drama that was far more delightful than unnerving given the premise. This week we thoroughly enjoyed what sounds like we might be describing a cold soda on a warm day as we found Bones to be delightful, refreshing, crisp, but just dangerous enough. Listen along as we talk about progressive issues facing women dating, upbeat banter, weighing in on our favorite characters and grieving over poor  Daisy losing her job. She only lasted a day, and guys she REALLY likes Dr. Brennan. Spoiler alert for all of you who haven't seen this show, the main character, Emily Deschanel's, name ISN'T "Bones"! Right? We were devastated too.    Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.

  • S1 Ep 6: Prison Break [S1 Ep 4 - Cute Poison]

    01/08/2016 Duration: 01h25min

Take a dip in the ... wait hold on, that's not right. Welcome to Fox River State Penitentiary, a maximum security prison home to some pretty shady characters and even shadier goings on. Follow along as we try to follow along in what we have dubbed the "New Girlfriend" window of our sporadic viewing habits while we watch an episode that isn't the first episode of Prison Break, but that's really close to being the first episode of Prison Break. We break down the characters from Blue Eyes White Dragon to The Lincoln Lawyer, and as always make quite a few references to other tv shows, video games, and our own previous episodes. Learn all about the match stick Taj Mahal and why we just happen to think it might not be the smartest idea to sentence someone who helped design a prison to that very prison because they might, and this may or may not be a spoiler, know exactly how to break out of it. Learn along with us as we take some fundamental chemistry lessons, discuss mental illness, and wonder if the feud over the

  • S1 Ep 5: Gossip Girl [S4 Ep 13 - Damien Darko]

    25/07/2016 Duration: 01h28min

Take a dip into this week's episode as Mike and Bellamy emerge themselves in the wealth and opulence of lower Manhattan. Follow along with us as we try to track all the hope dreams and aspirations of the twenty something socialites who all look like Zac Efron, Brendon Urie, and Blake Lively. Spoiler alert, it really is Blake Lively. Enjoy our abysmal attempt at trying to figure out the intrigue and social power structure of some of New York's finest (by finest I mean worst) made up families. This episode will have you glued to the edge of your seat with questions like "Will Blair and Daniel ever get together?" "Will Serena and Ben ever get together?" "Are Chuck and Reena going to get together again?" and most perhaps importantly "Why am I still watching this?". With some quippy dialogue delivered at a cadence no normal human speaks at, a couple good natured references to The Shallows, and a fair shake of soap opera squinty stares just off camera, Gossip Girl really captures exactly what it means to be a teen

  • S1 Ep4: Gotham [S2 Ep 18 - Pinewood]

    18/07/2016 Duration: 01h12min

WHERE IS IT?! Where's what you ask? The next episode of You've Never Seen That? Why, it's right here! This week we take a trip into the seedy underbelly of one of the world's most famous crime fighting vigilantes' cities and poke around for Baby Batmen, an oddly bad ass Alfred, and Dino-hand Karen. Poor Dino-hand Karen. Watch along with us before listening to see some of the experiments that must have turned a decently talented actor into a barely intelligible Arnold Schwarzenegger and the guy who played Ryan from the O.C. doing all of the bad ass stuff we wish he would have done while fending off the villains of teen melodrama in the early 2000's. With a couple revelations into the foundation of how the world's most famous bat themed super hero got his start (spoiler alert, it was by handing out copies of his mixtape outside of Drake shows), a suspenseful set up to new villains, and classic comic book fight scenes, we're certain you'll enjoy listening to us talk about Gotham almost as much as we liked watchi

  • S1 Ep3: The History Channel's Vikings [S4 Ep7 - The Profit and the Loss]

    11/07/2016 Duration: 01h09min

If this episode and show don't make you want to grow obscene facial hair, get face tattoos, and row around on a longboat on the open seas, swinging axes and shooting arrows, then there's a strong chance nothing will. This week Bellamy and Mike embark on an epic quest of betrayal (real betrayal this time), seafaring, and and good old fashioned war killing. To everyone's surprise, we only make the comparison between the main character's name, and the Minnesota Viking's old spokesperson (talk about more betrayal) once. With a couple extra plot lines of mystical proportions added in for good measure, and a whole bunch of names we can't pronounce; please enjoy as we make quite obvious our collective schooling's failure to teach anything resembling history as we recap The History Channel's: Vikings.    Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.
