Panda presents Xilent in the mix. This young Polish producer from Warsaw is one of the freshest names in Drum and Bass music right now. As we all know, producers these days are getting younger and younger and Xilent is no exception: he started producing at the tender age of eight years old! What?! Yeah, it makes me sad too. How can you compete with people starting at eight? Going through several phases in music of house, acid techno and trance, Xilent finally hit Drum and Bass, and luckily for us stayed there. Having his first signing in 2009 on Ammunition Recordigns, he was quickly picked up John B's Beta Recordings and three years later by Shimon's AudioPorn label. The year 2012 started off well for Xilent, with his remix of Sub Focus' Out The Blue hitting the airwaves and smashing up clubs around the world. This month, Panda presents Teknian in the mix. This 17-year old Swedish dubstep producer started out writing drum and bass music when he was 12 years old, later switching to dubstep when he encountered his first dubstep tune 'Africa' by the Others. Since then a lot happened as Teknian has received play support from names such as KOAN Sound, Culprate, Inspector Dubplate and Asa. He is now part of the Screwloose Records family. Screwloose is pushing a fresh sound that is completely different from conventional dubstep that is a lot more minimal and deep. Teknian's tracks fit in there perfectly. This 24-year old Australian bass music producer has been making music on and off for over 10 years but only in the last three years has started seriously producing and it is starting to show with the amount of attention he is getting recently. Just 20 years old, Great Skies is from London and has been shying away from the genres everyone is already making but instead takes a stab at ambient beats.
