Prayer Champions, let's welcome Special Guest Candace Norris Williams as she continues her teaching on The Prayer Closet for July!  Today we will deal with the letter "c" to start the word, closet. Prayer Champions, The HOLY SPIRIT has empowered us with forbearance, endurance, fortitude, unflappability, and serenity. We must trust God absolutely and will not cast away our confidence in the Lord no matter what we are facing. We know that nothing will separate us from God's everlasting Love! They that wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31, NKJV

Prayer Champions, our foundational scripture is found at Hebrews 4:16, and I will read it to you from the NKJV, Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. So today’s topic is Pray With All Boldness. 

Prayer Champions, there are times that we will receive bad news or experience unexpected and disappointing incidents in our lives. After the shock has lifted, our recourse is to pray. GOD has promised to perfect those things that concern us and has assured us that instead of worrying, we can pray!  “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank God for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. God’s peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7, TLB

Prayer Champions, some have become discouraged because life has happened and it seems that the enemy has snuck in and stolen many of our blessings. Some are struggling each month to make ends meet to meet the financial obligations of paying for the basic needs of rent or mortgage, food, clothing, transportation, and everything it takes to successfully run a household. That’s why today, we are praying the Prosperity Prayer. Not only do we want to ask God to prosper us, but we want to ask that we continue prospering from this day forward until we are indeed very prosperous. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 3 John 1;2, NKJV

Prayer Champions, let's pray in a spirit of worship today. We have seen the start of another month of surviving this horrible pandemic. Therefore, let's worship God in the beauty of holiness. We show our gratitude for all God has done for us! “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart) because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.” John 14:16-17, (AMP) 

Prayer Champions,  you can pray for modern miracles armed with God’s word.  State your case and ask with confidence. and say, according to the promise; Lord, You know what I need. We can count it done and begin to thank and praise GOD!  Get ready for the blessings of GOD to overtake you!  "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." 1 John 5:14-15, NKJV

Prayer Champions. let's continue the teaching on healing. We will asks GOD for healing for our bodies, our emotions, our relationships and for our land. But before we ask for healing as prayer champions we understand that each type of prayer has a specific "rule" or set of principles that governs it. Effective prayer is a result of following these principles. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5, NKJV

Prayer Champions, faith is the key element in successful spiritual healing.  Faith is a noun defined as belief that does not rest on logical proof and material evidence.  It is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof. It is the conviction that is developmental in direct response to a spiritual understanding. This faith is an intangible force that propels tangible action. To put it another way, faith is the thing a person does, not merely something one believes. Faith, or the intangible tangible, causes one to boldly go forth in areas that may seem impossible to garner the things desired in life. “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1, NLT

Prayer Champions, we have a special treat with an extended, hour-long broadcast. Since so many people are still struggling with the decision to get the Covid-19 vaccine or not, I have invited special guests; John Williams, Pastors Tedd & Patricia Washington, Anita Moore, Emojoy Brown, John Williams II, Pastor Dana Taft, Christian Vanleer, and Jennifer Baker to share their testimonies about their experiences with becoming fully vaccinated. My prayer is that at the close of the broadcast, others will be helped to make a quality decision about the Covid-19 Vaccination process. "Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding." Proverbs 4:7, NKJV  

Prayer Champions, how do you make a quality decision? Is it, eenie- meanie-minie- Moe or let me flip a coin? Is it, heads I’ll ask GOD or tails I’ll do what I think is best. Do you make a list of pros and cons around a decision, or do you seek the advice of others to see what they think you should do? “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” Deuteronomy 30:19, NKJV

Prayer Champions, let's welcome back Pastor Patricia of Grace for Living Ministries as she teaches on The Heart for Prayer. Pastor Patricia takes us through the Bible so that we can understand why we must prepare our hearts to pray. No matter what we face and no matter the situation, we are always to pray. We have a special relationship with God Almighty that gives each of us access to the glorious throne and the sacred altar of God. As Prayer Champions, we must take all of our concerns, big or small, to God in prayer on a regular basis. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”  Deuteronomy 6:4-5, NKJV

Prayer Champions, are you suffering because of it or overwhelmed by it. Are you tormented by It, saddened by it, grieved by it, angry about it, worried about it, or humiliated because of it! No matter what your particular IT is, we must release IT and let IT go by placing IT on the altar. We will not drag IT around any longer  I want to remind you from the words of Jesus as he hung on the cross. We can begin reading at John 19: 28 – 30, NKJV,  After this, Jesus, knowing[e] that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”  Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.  So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Prayer Champions, The HOLY SPIRIT empowers us to do this work of prophetic prayer. The power provided is dominion, competence, and strength that allows us to be effective in prayer. Through the HOLY SPIRIT we are qualified for it, equipped for it, proficient at it, gifted for it, and of great influence in prophetic praying. It is with this Divine power that we can be steadfast in our service unto GOD as Prayer Champions.  Therefore we are not merely living in the flesh, working our own agendas, but we are anointed for prophetic prayer whenever prompted by GOD. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's.” Romans 8:26-27, NIV

Prayer Champions, we will come boldly to the Throne of Grace to obtain mercy and to make our request known! We will ask in faith because it is in GOD we live and move and have our being.  We are dependent upon the LORD and want our lives to bring GOD Glory as we pray for ourselves and others confidently and in faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. When we pray, we praise GOD in thanks and declare that according to GOD’s powerful word, our petition is granted! Our prayers do arouse GOD’S attention because they come from a place of sincerity, humility, and love. As Prayer Champions we stand upon the scripture promises of James 1:5-7, CEB, “But anyone who needs wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without a second thought, without keeping score. Wisdom will certainly be given to those who ask. 6 Whoever asks shouldn’t hesitate. They should ask in faith, without doubting. Whoever doubts is like the surf of the sea, tossed and turned by the wind.7 People like that should never imag

Prayer Champions, let me ask you a few questions and I want you to think about your answers. Can you pray for 10 minutes? How about 15, 20, or 30 minutes? I spoke to someone who told me that she runs out of things to say after praying a few minutes … is that you too? Please understand that short prayers can be very effective especially in acute situations when you must get straight to the point. But what I am talking about today is your personal, intimate prayer time with the Lord. I want to tell you how to maximize that time so that when you are done, you will have spent quality time with our Lord. "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." 1 John 5:14-15, NKJV
