When Jesus gets involved, things change. Jesus healed and performed many miracles through the Gospel accounts. In this account, we see Jesus heal a paralyzed man who had no hope to walk. We see some life-changing truths from this account which we must apply to all our lives to help us see that spiritually, we are all lame and paralyzed with no hope apart from Jesus.

Continuing the message from the previous week, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the last three ways we are to serve others with the freedom we've been given in Christ.

It is a holy calling that must be respected and stewarded properly. In Galatians 5, the Apostle Paul explains what freedom really looks like, how it acts, and what it does.

Freedom is a vast concept. Ask ten people to explain freedom and you'll probably get ten different variations. What is freedom? Is freedom a political state? Is it an ideological state? Is it a philisophical state? How do I get freedom? What if freedom is not something to win or gain, but something to be found? Jesus told us where real freedom is found in John 8.

1 Corinthians 13 is commonly known as, "The Love Chapter." Love is the running theme of this powerful chapter in Paul's letter to the Corinthian believers. But, Love is the running theme of the entire Bible. It is the Love of God given to us through Christ which we must share with one another. Jesus said, we will be known by our love. In a modern, cynical, skeptical society ruled by selfish ambition, it is very easy to lose our focus on the pursuit of love.
