  • Guest Speaker// Mike Hardie: I am who I AM says I am

    22/04/2012

Guest Speaker// Mike Hardie: I am who I AM says I am Mike Hardie is a follower of Jesus, husband to Terasa, father of Seriyah and pastor and church planter of THRIVE in Sydney’s southern beaches. Mike speaks at churches, conferences & colleges on leadership, ministry and church planting. He loves music, coffee, books and sport. He will be speaking on Identity, which effects everything. If you think you’re a loser you will act like a loser. If you see yourself the way God sees you based on what He has done for you and who he has called us to be (Matthew 5:14) then this will effect how you behave in every way. Ephesians 2:10 illustrates that who God says we are precedes what he wants / has planned for us to do. Implications: If you believe you are a wise person (or God calls you to be a wise person) you act increasingly wise but if you see yourself as a fool you’ll go in making foolish mistakes.

  • He Week 3: He is the One

    21/04/2012

Speaker: Sam Haddon – He Week 3: He is the One Jesus is unique among all the religious leaders of the world – not only because He rose again & lives today, but because He actually made the bold (some would say “outrageous”) claim that He is the only Son of God. In a world of tolerance & acceptance of all faiths & beliefs, that’s a difficult assertion to defend – but as Christians, this belief is at the core of our message.. Reading: John 14:1-7 (NIV)
