    25/07/2017 Duration: 01h01min

Welcome to Volume 3 chapter 11 of The Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. This is a very special edition of The Necrocasticon, kids and one you don't want to miss!   This time around, your host, fledgling horror writer and veteran podcaster Tom Clark, is coming to you LIVE from Scares That Care in Williamsburg, Virginia, and with him is NOT our usual band of metal & horror experts at Project Entertainment Network, oh, no. Alas, Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball and Bob Overlord of Yonkers, er – we mean Azriel Mordecai, weren't able to make the trip to Virginia with Tom, however we do have a few excellent replacements for this somewhat live show.   Elizabeth Gray, the Head Hauntress at the Archivists Bet on Sexy Witches podcast, future comic book legend and Eisner & Harvey nominated jack of trades in the comic book industry, not to mention Iron Maiden's biggest fan, Rachel Autumn Deering. • Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 10

    17/07/2017 Duration: 01h26min

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 10 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. And this week that connection plain sucks. Hosts Tom Clark, Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball and Azriel Mordecai lament a fallen hero this week as we remember George Romero. Some call George A. Romero the Godfather of modern horror. It's no doubt that along side partner (and guest on the Necrocasticon a year ago this week!) John Russo, he gave birth to the modern zombie craze. But Romero was much more than a zombie auteur. He was a Renaissance man, a pioneer in independent film making who's contributions to the horror and fantasy genres cannot be ignored. We'll touch on all of that and more as we remember his legacy. But that's not all. We also remember Dave Z of Adrenaline Mob, who also died tragically this weekend. And we find out about Martin Landau, as well, with breaking news as we were recording this chapter. How could we remember George Romer

This time around Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball and Bob Overlord of Yonkers, err, we mean Azriel Mordecai, are digging up what has impressed so far, this year, in metal and horror. We're half way through 2017, and other than killing off our family and friends, the year has had some stellar moments in genre fiction and metal music. With that in mind, we're going to fill you in on the crème de la crème of what 2017 has given us thus far; from Get Out to Ararat to Iced Earth and American Gods and everything else in between. But that's not all. Walt reviews the lastest from Stone Sour, or does he? Az has double dose of bizarreness in the mortuary and Mr Scott gives the Axe handle to a bass monster, and we remember a few of 2

Secondly, Smoking Walt Ball and Azriel Mordecai welcome our convention friend Billy Effner of Engraveyard Studios and his pal Mark Phillips from Nightmares Unlimited to talk with us about their latest project, the Freddy Kruger Pinhead mashup glove you may have seen on the horror websites last week. We talk about how the glove came to be, the other projects Mark and Billy are working on, as well as digging into the secrets of success in the horror community, namely being nice to others and passing that help forward. It's an epic 90 some odd minute chat you don't want to miss with a couple guys that are on the rise!

But have no fear, Scott, Smoking Walt Ball & Azriel Mordecai found a suitable fill in for Tom this week in the form of sideshow freak and pro wrestler Lenn Oddity. This is appropriate, as our panel of metal and horror experts talk about body horror this week. But that's not all. Walt reviews the latest from Iced Earth, Scott gives the raises the axe handle high in remembrance of a person that was the core of their circle of friends, as well as giving the blade to someone else that deserves it. Az gets all mashed up in the mortuary and finally, Mr. Scott talks to upstate NY vocalist Josh “Ripper” Wheeler from the death metal band Demonic Reign.

Your host, writer Tom Clark is joined by our panel of metal and horror experts at Project Entertainment Network. Musician Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball and musician and artist Azriel Mordecai are getting extreme this week, and we're not talking about snowboarding in June, oh no. When is EXTREME too extreme? We're going to talk about movies, books and metal that may have gone over the line. From Edward Lee's Headers to a Serbian Film. From Doom to Death metal and all the pinks and hardcore variants in between. But that's not all. We also review a movie that's making some Buzz lately... Milko Davis' TSUNAMBEE, Walt has some Anathema in the smoker, Az gets wonderful and Gwoes to the mortuary and Mr. Scott gives the AXE to a person that needs it... someone who hasn't had a hit song in 20 years, so every year he has to say or do something stupid to make

Your host, writer and journalist Tom Clark, is joined, as always, by our panel of metal & horror experts: Musician Mr. Scott, metal connoisseur & horror enthusiast Walt Ball and Musician & artist Azriel Mordecai. We're going behind the scenes and getting nosy this week as we tell you what documentaries on horror and metal you should be watching or should have watched already. From Quiet Riot to A Nightmare on Elmstreet, there are dozens of great behind the scenes documentaries on horror movies & metal acts. But it's the documentaries on real murders that are often the scariest, like Paradise Lost and even the JFK assassination film we've all seen. Then, film critic and our brother from The Curtain Jerkers, Steve Mesa, joins us to review IT COMES AT NIGHT, Trey Edward Shults' film starring Joel Edgerton. Whats it about? We've got a s

I'll tell you why you should or shouldn't see Wonder Woman. Walt reviews the latest from Danzig, is it as bad as we thought it was going to be? Or does it bring us back to the Danzig of old? Walt will let us know. Az has some sisters of mercy in the Mortuary and Mr. Scott gives the axe to a lawyer that jum
