This is the last podcast in Titus. In these verses we see how Paul has planned for the continuation of the churches on Crete. Teachers and apostles were sent to Crete to aid the church there.

Paul lists things to avoid. Foolish controversies, genealogies, strife and fight about the law. He also tells us to tell fractious people to get out of my way.

The statement that Paul gave in verses 3-7 is something you can trust and depend on. Your trust will activate it in your life. Go tell someone about it.

The Holy Spirit has been generously poured out on us to bring us to the place of regeneration and renewal. Allow Him to control you and He will make you better.

Salvation is a continuing process in our lives. It happens not by our self righteous good works but by the mercy of God. He washes us with regeneration and renews us by the Holy Spirit.

The kindness and brotherly love of God sets in motion changes in our lives. His kindness draws us to Him.

It is good to remember where we have come from and who changed us. In this podcast we see where we were without Jesus.

Believers need to be prepared to do good things for everyone they come in contact with, they need to be peace loving, gentle and considerate to all men.

Paul reminds Titus to remind the Cretans that they need to be in order with the rulers and authorities. What does that mean? Are there limits to obedience?

Paul tells us the Jesus redeemed us from lawlessness and purified us so we could be His possession. That does not sound like a license to sin!

Grace causes us to look with expectancy for the coming of Jesus. Our blessed hope!

The power of the Gospel

Grace trains us. It trains us to live a life of righteousness and godliness in this present time.

What does grace teach us to do? It teaches to say "no" to ungodliness and worldly desires
