What is sexual immorality. It is any sexual desire or practices outside the bounds of biblical marriage. Stay away from sexual sins.

Paul's commandment were given by the authority given to him by Jesus. It is God's will that they live a life that is set apart from all others.

Paul requested and exhorted the Thessalonians to receive his instruction because it will cause them to excel. Being comfortable is a deteriorate to spiritual progress.

Our hearts need to be established. Blame will keep your heart from being established. Our hearts can be established until Jesus comes for us.

Love is another thing that if it is not growing it is shrinking. Paul prayer that the love of this loving church would grow.

Faith needs to remain active. It is either growing or shrinking. Paul wants to add to the faith of this church.

Paul is praying night and day for the church. He is praying for an opportunity to see their faces.

Paul is overwhelmed with thanksgiving because of the joy he received after hearing about the church in Thessalonica

Paul found comfort in learning of the faith of the Thessalonians. He tells them that this is life to him. Then he encourages them to stand firm in the Lord.

Timothy had brought Paul good news. The Thessalonians are in faith and love. They are thinking kindly of you and want to see you. This news relieved Paul's concern.

In the short time that Paul was with the Thessalonians, he had told them that hard times would come. He prepared them for hard times. Paul was concerned that his work had been done in vain.

Paul did not want hard times to disturb the Thessalonians to the point that they were leaving their faith. He assures us that we are all going to have hard times in our lives.

Paul gives us a tremendous example to follow as a leader in the church. He was so in love with the people that he sacrificed his own personal comfort for them

Paul tells them that he wants to come to them but Satan has hindered him. Persecution hinders ministry but it cannot take away what Has been achieved.

Paul said that he has been taken away physically from the church in Thessalonica but they are in his heart.

Persecution hindered the gospel. The Jews did not want the Gentiles to be saved. The wrath of God will come because of their sins.

The churches in Jerusalem and in Thessalonica were the same in that they both suffered persecution from the Jews.

Paul is thankful that the Thessalonians received the Gospel as it was God's word to them. God's word was performing g it work in them .

Paul exhorted, encouraged, and implored the church to walk like they were a part of God's kingdom and His glory.

Paul's and his team's behavior while in Thessalonica added to them receiving the Gospel. He was holy, upright and blameless.
