The benefit of godliness is trustworthy and we need to accept it as a fact. We must work hard and strive to be godly in our lifestyles. We do this because we have a hope in the living God.

Godliness is useful to us. It benefits us in everything. It takes a hold of the promises of God for this life and the one to come.

We need to stripe off anything that hinders us from being like God. That also means to stay away from fables and philosophies that are not from God.

Good servants of Jesus Christ walk away from stories that are garbage. They have the courage to do what us right.

What is a good servant of Jesus Christ? Paul tells us that they are trained in the words of faith and sound doctrine.

Everything that God creates is good. We need to receive it with gratitude and cleanses it with the Word and prayer

The people that teach false doctrine will hinder people from getting married and from eating certain foods. They do this for religious reasons.

Paul tells us that the people who teach doctrines of demon are playacting, they are liars. These people have a conscious that is seared, it has not feelings.

People will fall away from the doctrinal teachings of the faith. They will begin to listen to demons who have departed the truth and will pay close attention to their teachings.

The Holy Spirit is speaking to Paul as he write. He is speaking with great detail and is talking about the last days before the return of Christ.

This should be the truth that we confess. Jesus was born in the flesh, he was made right with God in the Spirit, He was seen by angels, He was proclaimed to the nations and believed in, He was taken to Glory.

The church needs to be holding the truth up. It needs to be a support of the truth. God's Word is truth, Jesus is truth!

Paul is writing on how we are to conduct ourselves as believers. Paul is urgently writing these things to Timothy and to us today.

Those in leadership who do a good job serving are given a higher step to take and along with that great confidence.

Deacons must be the husband of only one wife at a time and they must influence their children and all in their household

Women can be deacons but they have added requirements. They must be dignified, not slanderers, have their lives in order and they must be faithful in every area of life.

Before you put a deacon into office, they must be tested and approved of. Their must have nothing that stands as evidence against them

A deacon must hold on to the doctrines of faith like they are a rare and precious thing.

A deacon cannot give their attention to alcohol and they must not look after shameful gain.

A deacon must be a person who is can be respected by unbelievers and not a hypocrite. They must be what they say.
