Jesus will appear in the proper time. He will appear as He is, the Blessed One, the Ruler, King of kings and Lord of lords.

We must keep the commandments that Paul gave Timothy that are found in verses 11-12. We must keep them until Jesus appears.

The order that Timothy received from Paul is a powerful order. God and Jesus Christ are eye witnesses to this order.

We need to fight the fight of faith. We need to fight for what we believe and not be passive.

Believers need to pursue and fight to stand under pressure. We cannot be passive and endure. We also need to pursue a gentle attitude toward others even our enemies.

We have faith and love but we need to fight and pursue them so that they are evident in our lives.

As believers we should be pursuing a righteous lifestyle. Along with that we should be fighting for or pursuing godliness which is not just a lifestyle but also what we believe.

We need to flee from all types of evil especially from the love of money. Then we need to fight in our pursuit for the things of God.

When a person has a deep affection for money they move away from the faith. That means they begin to hurt themselves by causing grief and distress in their lives.

The outcome for people who are always planning and conniving to get rich is they fall into temptation, traps and they give in to desire that are stupid and harmful. Then ruin and destruction comes.

We can be content with food and housing but there are people who spend their time and effort in planning how they can be rich. These people end up in trouble.

What is the secret of contentment? Knowing that we did not bring anything into this life and that we will take nothing out. The secret of contentment believing the Word and living it.

When we believe and practice biblical doctrine it will begin to procure greatness into our live when we add to it contentment.

False teachers cause fighting amongst themselves. Their minds are totally destroyed and there is no truth in them. Yet they act like they are religious so they can gain things for themselves.

False teacher produce strife or quarrelling in those who hear them. They also harm other people's reputation by their words and cause bad suspicions.

False teachers love to question things not for a solution but to cause doubt. They cause strife over words. The fruit they produce is envy in the hearts of those around them.

Paul says some not very nice things about false teachers. The are crazy, they do not understand anything. They have unhealthy interests in other teachings.

False teachers do not agree with the words of Jesus or with healthy words or teaching. These healthy teachings bring godliness into a person's life

When a believer has a believer as their employer they should treat that employer with respect and work hard for them because they together will receive the benefit.

Employees need to have a mind set that their employer is of great value. This will cause the people around them to glorify God and their witness will be powerful.
