It is not how we look that makes us a vessel of honor it is our usefulness. If we cleanse ourselves we become a person that God can use.

The house of God has two types of vessels. Ones of gold and silver and ones that are common. It is the common vessel that is the vessel of honor because of their usefulness.

God has marked us with a seal that says we belong to Him. This is our firm foundation in life. Because of that we stay away from unrighteousness.

False teaching comes from people who purposely leave the truth of God's Word. Their teaching will will overturn your faith if you listen to it.

We need to avoid teaching that is not based in God's Word. It is like gangrene, it spreads quickly and is extremely dangerous.

Words that are useless garbage will have an affect on you. They will lead you away from the wholesome and fruitful teachings about Christ and His kingdom.

Those in leadership should present themselves to God for His approval. When they do this they will not be ashamed of how they present the Word of truth to others.

We must not fight with words. Fighting with words is useless and cause harm and catastrophe in the lives of them that hear them.

When a person says "no" to the conviction of the Holy Spirit there is no guarantee they have another chance. Jesus will say "No" to them. If a person's faith is canceled God will remain faithful and will not deny you.

We have these promises with their condition, if we have died with Him we live with Him. If we endure, we reign.

When we know that the Gospel cannot be stopped we will endure. We endure for the sake of those who will be saved.

We are encouraged by these verse, Jesus Christ overcame death and He reigns. That is the Gospel. We may be imprisoned because we speak it, but it will never be stopped.

We need to think about, consider and understand what we hear from those who teach us the Word. Then the Lord will give us the ability to put it all together and understand what is going on in every situation.

A farmer works hard for one reason, the harvest. As believers we work hard know that we will share in the harvest. Keep your eyes on the harvest.

In order for a athlete to receive a prize they need to prepare and compete according to the rules. We as believers must do the same. The prize is there if we compete according to the rules.

In order for us to do what God has asked us to do we must first of all not be entangled with the things of everyday life. We trust God to care for us.

A Christian should never suffer alone. As soldiers we stand together in our sufferings or persecution.

We need to listen to what we have been taught and then teach it to faithful people and they will teach it to someone else.

In order to stand strong when others are denying their faith we need to have an understanding of the grace of God. The grace of God will make us strong.

There are two types of people. One kind is those who leave their fellow believers when the pressure of persecution comes. The other type comes to their aid even if it means losing their life.
