Morning Manna

I love the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. Daniel 6:19–20 says this... “Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, ‘Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?'” HE... IS... ABLE!

Enjoy a reading of Psalm 1 today. I'm continuing to read the Psalm on every Friday. I hope God speaks to you every Friday and make your focus on Him and others.

Proverbs 17:3 says this... “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the hearts.” Challenges and testings purify us as we grow closer to God. If a testing comes... there is a positive result.

Daniel 3:25 says this... “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” I'm thankful for the Fourth Man... Jesus. Let's look to Him for strength and courage today.

Daniel 2:21 says this... “And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” God has a plan for each of us and what amazing things He can do.

Daniel 1:8 says this... “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” What have you purposed in your heart today?

Today we wrap up the book of Psalms with chapter 149 and 150. There's so much we can praise the Lord for today. Lift Him high in praise for He is worthy of all our praise!

Are you ready for Jesus return? 1 Corinthians 15:52 says this... “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” Today I say... even so come Lord Jesus!

Exodus 14:13–14 says this... “And Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.'” Whatever you're worrying about today... stand still and see what God can do.

What a powerful verse today... Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Let's call on Him multiple times, every day and see what He can do.

Isaiah 49:16 says this... “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.” How incredible it is that God knows us so intimately. He knows... He loves... He is our Father in Heaven!

Psalm 48:14 says this... “For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.” We all need a guide in our life and our God will guide us as we look to and follow Him. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Happy New Year and here's a great verse to focus on in the New Year! "Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Ezekiel 36:26–27 says this... “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Thank You Father for not just a new year... but a NEW HEART!

2 Corinthians 9:7–8 says this... “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” Are you and I a Cheerful Giver?

2 Corinthians 9:15 says this... "Thanks be to God for His indiscribable gift." Merry Christmas friends and remember, as you open up your gifts... the greatest and most indiscribable gift is Jesus!

Luke 2:15 says... “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” How can we today in 2024, experience a "Go and See?"
