For All You Kids Out There

In Episode 109 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett chat about the #onpace for 89-win Mets. What a very circuitous trip it has been. Jarrett is still annoyed at Jose Reyes being on the roster, Jeffrey just wants to talk about the backend of the rotation, and we aren't even neatly organizing the show into halves well anymore.

In Episode 108 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett are again around Jarrett's dining room table (with a very loud air conditioner in the background) to discuss the week in Mets baseball, a postscript to This Week in Matt Harvey, and the endless leg injuries of Yoenis Cespedes. Then in the second half of the show we chat about the prospects we have seen over the last week before wrapping up with your correspondence and the declaration that the podcast is All In. 

In Episode 107 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett chat about Jacob deGrom's hyperextended elbow and Michael Conforto's lost playing time before bringing on David Roth for the series finale of This Week in Matt Harvey, which to be fair is mostly Jeffrey explaining the finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation. We also answer your e-mails and try to figure out who is taking the title of Kazuchika Okada. 

In Episode 106 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett discuss the week in Jason Vargas, Matt Harvey and first base, before the triumphant(?) return of the Panic City Index. At least that's what we think it used to be called. In the second half of the show we discuss Binghamton...sigh...Rumble Ponies prospects with BP Mets Alex Rosen, and wrap up the show with Ronald Acuña chat, the return of the Sports Pope, and the Greatest Royal Rumble.

In Episode 105 of For All You Kids Out There (we eventually figure out what the episode number is), Jeffrey and Jarrett are no longer cautiously optimistic. Matt Harvey is headed to the bullpen to theoretically bolster a suddenly sputtering relief corps, but is this how it all ends in Gotham? We also try to figure out how to get Brandon Nimmo more playing time before moving into some prospect topics in the second half of the show. In the third half of the show, we plug a lot of stuff, answer a lot of questions, and marvel at the  2018 British Virgin Islands Marlins baseball-reference page.

In Episode 104 of For All You Kids Out There, we really should have someone up from Vegas to podcast because Jarrett has double bronchitis, but even though it is literally a 10-day-DL, we muddle through. In an abbreviated show, we chat about the Mets suddenly dire catching situation, the future rotation questions, and how to get Brandon Nimmo in the lineup. In the second half of the show, we discuss our looks at Vladito and how to grade fastballs in 2018, and in the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and Jarrett has some legal advice for the Miami Marlins that should not be construed as actual legal advice.

In Episode 103 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey is not scheduling a pod around Jarrett's fifteen wrestling shows in New Orleans, so he is joined by Kate Feldman to discuss the Mets early-season success, how to manage playing time going forward. In the second half of the show, we answer your questions on valuing mid-rotation starters versus multi-inning relievers, and the Latin American baseball market. We do check in with Jarrett from Cajun country in the third half of the show to discuss Shohei Otani and Wrestlemania.

In Episode 102 of For All You Kids Out There, it's a new season of Mets baseball and things are okay so far? Certainly better than they have been going in Philly. In the first half of the show, we glean what we can from the opening series with the Cards before breaking down Gabe Kapler's rough week. In the second half of the show we go over the Mets Minor League rosters, and it's slim pickings for actual discussion. In the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and preview Jarrett's upcoming New Orleans wrestling extravaganza with Brady.

In Episode 101 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett review the last moving pieces of the 2018 Mets Opening Day roster. Jarrett has been vindicated on Seth Lugo and we ponder what is in store for Zack Wheeler. There's also a five-minute aside on the Phillies because of course there is. The Phillies get a proper preview in the second half of the show, along with the rest of the NL East. We are...cautiously optimistic? Then in the third half of the show, we answer your correspondence, review recent WWE and NJPW news, and Jeffrey gets excited for the Dragon Gate network.

In Episode 100 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett are joined by David Roth and Nick Stellini at Big aLICe brewing in Long Island City to chat about not-very-exciting Mets news, very exciting Long Island Ducks news, and then Jeffrey's laptop dies. Jeffrey and Jarrett pop back in though, mostly to feel icky about writing about Minor League Baseball, and less icky about the big Zack Sabre, jr. New Japan Cup push. We are what we are. 

In Episode 99 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett preview the 2018 Mets pitching staff. That should be upbeat at least, right? Ah, you must be new here. It isn't. Blame Jarrett. In the second half of the show we chat about Jake Arrieta and the Phillies with Liz Roscher, and in the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and end on the usual pro wrestling chat.

In Episode 98 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett sort of announce a thing for our 100th episode before diving into the muddled Mets rotation picture. Who's actually healthy? Who has options? Who knows? In the second half of the show we chat with Kate Feldman about the 2018 Mets outfield, well ostensibly at least. Then in the third half of the show we answer your e-mails and spend way more time talking about the fight sports than either of us expected.

In Episode 97 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett mostly talk about the 2018 Mets. We have early spring training thoughts, early returns on the #brand, and early disappointment in the first base competition. In the second half of the show we preview the Mets infield and backstop, but ultimately end up talking about budget hotels for a lot of this segment. Then in the third half of the show, we answer your e-mails and have a long bit where we compare ice dancing pairs and pro wrestling tag teams.

In Episode 96 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett make the mistake of putting a few days in between recording sessions. What could possibly go wrong since there has been almost no baseball news all winter? WELP. Anyway, in the first half of the show we cover Sharknado, the Jason Vargas signing, and the Mets search for a fifth outfielder. In the second half of the show we are joined by David Roth of Deadspin to cover a lot of Rays news and wrap up prospect list season. In the third half of the show,  we do a bunch of already out of date over/under lines and some less out of date wrestling chat.

In Episode 95 of For All You Kids Out There, it's that time of year again. It's the 2018 BP Annual Drinking Game. We are joined by Craig Goldstein, Meg Rowley, Nick Stellini, Ben Carsley, and Nick Schaefer, and there is much drinking, yelling, and shockingly Nick wins again.

In Episode 94 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett talk about the Mets re-entering the starting pitching market, who is actually an upgrade over Wilmer Flores, and a potential looming labor showdown in the first half of the show. In the second half of the show, we are joined by Kate Morrison to discuss pitching week at Baseball Prospectus, Bartolo Colon's new digs, and the Sunday Night Baseball booth.  In the third half of the show, we go over the last two prospect lists of the year and catch up on New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In Episode 93 of For All You Kids Out There, it is almost the end of prospect list season so the podcast is gonna get punchy. In the first half of the show, Jeffrey and Jarrett review Orioles Fan Fest and discuss a plethora of Mets news, from Jeff Wilpon's thoughts on payroll, the Mets new medical plan, the Jose Reyes signing, and the Milwaukee Brewers pushing their chips in the center of the table. In the second half of the show we break down the Tigers, Mariners, Royals, and Diamondbacks lists as quickly as possible. And in the third half of the show, we answer your correspondence, spoil the alternate ending to Major League, and analyze a whole lotta professional wrestling.

In Episode 92 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett take on a slow news week the only wy they know how, with 80 minutes of prospect list discussion. Not Mets prospect lists either. Craig Goldstein joins us to discuss the scintillating Twins, Orioles, and Giants lists. There is a bit of Mets chat around Chasen Bradford, non-roster-invitees, and vague BARTOLO rumors. But yeah, that's pretty much it. This offseason sucks, you guys.
