Canon Perry Koon - Associate Rector & Canon Missioner Perry has lived in Austin since 1996 and has been involved in 4 church start-ups. He completed a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1993 and was ordained in 2009 to the Priesthood. He currently teaches 5th grade Reading and Social Studies in the Del Valle School District. He has been married to Wendey for 36 years and has two daughters and two granddaughters.

Lauren McCain - Director Of Family Lauren leads the family ministry at Resurrection. She recently moved from South Carolina with her husband, Seth. While in South Carolina, Lauren earned her B.S. in Biblical Studies and M.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and has taught Pre-K through 2nd grade. She and Seth have been married for four years and have two sweet, active yellow labs. www.RezAustin.com

Rob is the dean of Northern California for our diocese, and is the founding pastor of Redeemer Anglican Church in Santa Cruz, California. Redeemer was planted with Fr. Shawn years ago, and sent the McCains to Austin to plant Resurrection. John Tucker is Rez's Curate & Director Of Liturgy. John coordinates the worship life at Resurrection. He's a native Austinite and has recently moved back from a few stints in North Carolina, Dallas and Zambia, Africa where he spent over three years as a missionary. Why membership? In Baptism we are made members of the household of God, joining his eternal and global Body, the Church. Membership gives us the opportunity to live out that baptismal reality in the local church, describing those practical ways that we can use our unique gifts and passions that make Rez tick. Is membership just a set of rules? Not at all. In the same way we wouldn't think of our baptismal covenant, or marriage vows, promises we make to friends as a "set of rules," but a description of the community we believe God is calling us to become. What do I get out of membership? Not your best question so far, but I think I know what you mean. You get each other. The gift of membership is a gift to a community, and to a neighborhood because it brings shape to a place of belonging. We want to create a safe space for people to encounter Life Together in the Goodness of God, and membership helps us bring intentionality and commitment to that vision. Canon Lumanog is the Archbishop's Canon and Chief Operating Officer for the Anglican Church in North America, and oversees the overall function, development and administration of the Province. He is also a National Trustee of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund and a Chaplain with the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Canon Lumanog was ordained a deacon in 2000 and a priest in 2002. Previously, he served as a diocesan executive, senior pastor and church planter with additional corporate experience in radio and television news and in directing advertising and marketing for a national newspaper.
