  • Episode 41: Titans Get A Little Arse Towel

Coronavirus? More like CoronaSIRENS here comes the police because this pod broke quarantine, by being OUT OF THIS WORLD. Or something like that. Honestly, it's not that good, but the description's gotta hype it up, y'know? In this episode, some nerds have played video games, an event which has happened before and will happen again, therefore rendering it completely unremarkable. Odward, seeking a pocket-sized Slay the Spire alternative, braves the Play Store for Dungeon Tales. Jordan opens up about how Destiny 2 made him hate space and anything that reminds him of space, including our own dear sun, which we need. Meanwhile, Hearthstone Battlegrounds managed to be so good that Vop willingly installed Hearthstone to play it. Our lovely Bird likes it when people dress like chunky robots, but thanks to quarantine must satisfy these needs through Battletech and MechWarrior 5. Jammy tries to justify AdventureQuest 3D.

  • Episode 40: Big Lungs

    18/07/2019 Duration: 01h28min

The New York Times recently published a piece titled "Have We Hit Peak Podcast?", lamenting the saturation of the podcast medium by hordes of low-effort hacks, peddling their lukewarm, half-baked shite as if anybody would ever be interested or care in the slightest. Podcasts which benefit nobody except the smug fuckers who host them, unaware of how little their opinion matters. Anyway, here's a new episode of Topic Chunder. This time, Ed (or SeldomBucket) returns from the dead and brings a bunch of old dead games with him, like Xcom 2: Wizards of the Coast and Dishonoured: Death of the Outsider. Jimbo has played a survival game which is apparently relaxing (Astroneer), while Odward has tested his mighty brain against Baba Is You. Voppzy did the shoots and the sneaks in Void Bastards, as a brief distraction from driving pretend cars literally all of the time. Jammy played Fallout 76, presumably under court order.
