Andreas sits down with our good friend Isak, aka MuffinJin on Twitch. We have a history of playing Nintendo games together, we also talk about Final Fantasy XIV and League of Legends. Andreas and MuffinJin have also watched a lot of the DC tv shows and give there view on them. This and more in episode 120.  

We look ahead at the coming months and what games they bring. It seems like the year 2020 starts next week when it comes to gaming. We also discuss Breakpoint's new mode, The release date of Ghost of Tsushima and the announcement that there making a Last of Us show. 

Halo Combat Evolved is out for pc with a very quiet release. Death Stranding is making its way to pc very soon and what's up with the leaked Star Wars game? If you can't get enough of Mario Cart and play it on the mobile, you will soon be able to play against you friends and others. Final Fantasy VII released a demo whitch we have played and will give you all the details. Rainbow Six Siege might go free to play and Riot Games have revealed the name of there latest game, Valoriant. this and more in episode 44 of Midweek Newsreel.

Gameplay from Baldur's Gate 3 is out, a long demo that really shows of the the game and what it can do. The game is very similar to Divinity but seems to stand on it's own legs. Bleeding edge hade a demo out a week or two back. We played it and share our thoughts on the game. We have also started playing Hunt: Showdown. A pvp and pve game were you and all the other teams are hunting a boss, trying not to get killed by the other teams and then make it to the extraction. A very intense game with high stakes.

Pax East is soon here but many seems to be pulling out. Baldur's Gate 3 will be revealed there and will enter early access later this year. Ghost Recon Breakpoints latest update is getting delayed, the Resident Evil 3 remake will get a demo and is Horizon Zero Dawn on it's way to pc? Htc have a few new vr headsets out but it all is a bit confusing, EA canceled a Star Wars game last year but are still making two it seems like... hopefully. Microsoft have revealed new features for the new Xbox that CD Project Red are on board with.

Andreas is joined by our good friend William aka Liliachi who is a longtime World of Warcraft and League of Legends player. We discuss Blizzards release of Warcraft Reforged, why they did, what they did and the repercussions. We talk about the state of the industry, what last year did and why were so disappointed. Andreas and William have also played through the entire Dark Souls series together, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Niho. All of these games are in the running for hardest modern games. We discuss our journey through the games, what makes the so great and challenging.

The year of delayed games is continuing with Empire of Sin. The studio Quantic Dream that have made some amazing games is becoming it's own publisher. We now have all the information on the upcoming operators for Siege, they also revealed the road map for the next two years. It will include map reworks, core gameplay reworks, arcade playlist and a lot more.    With the PC invasion from Halo were getting new nerf guns as well, in fact three of them. The game Gothic seems to have a remake on the way and Dead by Daylight have revealed a new killer and survivor. This and more in episode 42 of Midweek Newsreel. 

What is the most iconic weapon you know? In this episode we take a look at some of the most iconic weapons from games. The weapons you use are a critical part of the gaming experience and a key feature. Some weapons you remember because of there overwhelming power, others for there appearance, unique design or interesting way to use. You may love some of there weapons and hate the others, ether way they have had an impact and will be remembered.

It's been a year since Anthem got released and it seems like a rework of the game is on the way. Monster Hunter is geting new monsters, Dead Cells have a new dlc, Division 2 is geting it's first expansion and is a battle royal dropping for the latest Call of Duty?    Activision Blizzard is pulling out of GeForce Now and they also seems to like the mobil platform. Starbreeze have had a rough going lately but have made a turn around with Payday 2 dlc's. 

Andreas sits down with his brother Amadeus. What we never discuss in the podcast is sports games. Amadeus on the other hand buys Fifa, NHL and the F1 games each year. We discuss EA, how they are managing to keep the games interesting every year, the evolution of sports titels and everything surrounding these games.   

This week brings us an attempted by Blizzard to apologize for the Warcraft Reforged fiasco, but unfortunately not in the right way. Nvidia have launched Geforce Now which looks impressive. The Ps 5 website is up, Xbox's Phil Spencer thinks that Amazon and Google is there biggest competitors in the future. Monster Hunter World is soon getting a new monster and a crossover event with Resident Evil. Fallout 76 is getting an expansion at the same time as it's launching to Steam.

Is Blizzard the next studio on the chopping board? With a disappointing Warcraft Reforged release, is there a way back for them? Can we trust Blizzard? We have also played the Kingdom Hearts series... well about half of it. We also got too introduce Christian to the Monster Hunter series. He gives his take on the game while we discuss the games strengths and weaknesses.

Episode 39 brings with it news about Doom Eternal. The game will not have any microtransactions, the Dauntless studio have been bought up and a Kingdom Hearts mobile Game is on the way. The hope of getting a good Uncharted movie seems to be dwindling, Blizzard is moving to YouTube and is a new VR headset planed for the Ps 5? A new Battlefield V map is soon here with a trailer available now, Metro is releasing the second dlc soon with focus on a big open area and an emotional story.

Andreas sits down with Johan aka VALIDUZz. VALIDUZz is a streamer on Twitch with a focus on the game War Thunder. We of course do a deep dive into the game War Thunder, and how and why Johan started streaming.

This week brings us more delays, Dying Light 2. Half-Life: Alyx is soon here and Valve have started talking about details. Valve have also stated that Left 4 Dead 3 is not happening any time soon. What we might get from Konami is a new Silent Hill. Ubisoft is restructuring, The development of Re 8 is starting over and is a new Splinter Cell finally in the works?   

All the physical game stores seems to be closing down with Game and Gamestop going away. How did this happened? Could they have survived? Is there a future for physical copies of games or are they gone forever? We also take a look back at our best memories from came releases in stores and other fond memories.

Delays is what this week have brought us. Final Fantasy VII have been delayed, the same have happened too Marvel's Avengers. We are getting closer to the Release of Doom and the Re3 remake. This means new trailers and more information. The new Xbox will not have any exclusive titles for at least a year and Sony is skipping E3 for the second year in a row. This year's pass for Siege will have a few changes, this and more in episode 37 of midweek newsreel.

Is the year 2020 the best gaming year yet? Big title being dropped at the first half of the year with E3 in the middle and new consoles at the end. With games like Cyberpunk, Last of us, Doom, Final Fantasy VII and a new Half Life this year, what will the other half of the year provide? We only hope E3 will deliver and give us an epic future to look forward to.

Were back! The year 2020 is here and hopefully the best gaming year yet. We're starting of the year with a news episode, we will do a deep dive on the year 2020 this Sunday. CES are in full motion which mean a lot of tech, it seems that the Switch might have competition in the future from Alienware's UFO. The game series Witcher have recently got a TV series, we discuss it and give you our take on it. Final Fantasy XII is going to get a demo before the release of the game, Valve's Underlords is losing players, a lot of players. Wargroove is getting a huge update and it's free, Blizzard is retiering StarCraft 2 WCS and handing it over to ESL and Dreamhack in it's place. This and more in the first episode of 2020.

Game of the year time for us. We determine our top 5 games of the year in the last episode of the year. We also take a look at the biggest surprises of the year and biggest disappointments. We have had some amazing things happening this year we can only hope that next year will be better. We will of course be back early January as usual.
