Synopsis
"Jessica & Solange Take Down The Patriarchy" (aka, "I Loved This But On Second Thought It's Kinda Bullshit"), hosted by Jessica Cabot and Solange Castro, is a feminist deconstruction of movies/TV Shows/Books that the hosts once loved, but realize contain problematic and stereotypical representations of women. Jessica Cabot is the writer and creator of the Lisa Kudrow produced web series "Shitty Boyfriends." Solange Castro, a standup comic and playwright, wrote the play, "Changes In The Mating Strategies of White People." They both hope to help improve the portrayal of women in media through this podcast.
