    In the final of the Men’s SL3 Para Badminton at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on Tuesday (3 September 2024) Bethell in his second Paralympic Games won a Silver with just missing out on Gold to Kumar Nitesh of India. RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Dan on the terrace of Paralympics GB House to find out how the competition for Dan had been over the whole games and how he was feeling winning his Silver medal and just missing out on Gold.     On the terrace of Paralympics GB House RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined by Dave Ellis and his pilot Luke Pollard who won a Gold in the Paratriathlon PTVI classification at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Following a few moves of the start of the Paratriathlon Dave and Luke’s start got away at 12 noon on Monday 2 September 2024 and about half an hour before Dave’s partner Claire Cashmore competed in the PTS5 classification and coming away with a Silver medal too.     Following on from a first in the second repechage on Saturday (31 August 2024) of the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls rowing category at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, on Sunday (1 September 2024) Annie Caddick and Sam Murray who is visually impaired win Silver in the final of this new rowing category for the Paralympic Games which was a close race between them and Australia who won the Gold. RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Annie and Sam just after they had been presented with their Silver medals to find out how that final race had gone for them and how their achievements in this new rowing category at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games will help to encourage other visually impaired and disabled people to get in to rowing.     With the swimming in full swing at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with twins Scarlet and Eliza Humphrey who were competing in the Women’s S11 400 Metres Free Style final on Friday Night (30 August 2024).  Sadly no medals so far for Scarlet and Eliza at their first Paralympic Games with 6 place for Scarlet (just over 23 seconds behind the leader) and 8th place for Eliza (just over 40 seconds behind the leader). There will be more than likely Paralympic medals for the Humphrey Twins in the future as they continue on their Paralympic swimming career. (Image shows RNIB logo.
