Understanding and helping aging seniors who are sick, have dementia or Alzheimers, and end of life care with Susan Putman. Susan raised a handicapped child, along with her other children, as well as having run a preschool for twenty five years, before she went on to work with the hospice environment and elder care. She gives such key insights into these areas to help people understand the best way to cope with end of life care, elder care, and Alzheimers/dementia care. This was my first interview. I met a hispanic man named Jose, along with his friend, in a local park. I asked him if I could interview him. I was trying to understand his life and his circumstances for being homeless.

Guerline Jozef runs the Haitian Bridge Alliance. She speaks about the Haitians who walked from Brazil to San Diego, California seeking political asylum and then being placed in detention centers for long periods of time, awaiting their turn before a judge. In the mean time, they are treated the same as criminals locked up, and without the rights afforded to American citizens, for instance, the right to legal representation. These detention centers are run for profit. They are paid from our government to house each person per day.
