This made me facepalm so hard I have a handprint on my face (not really, but it was bad). Read an article from NBC where parents are not revealing the sex of their children to the kids themselves for as long as they can - everyone really - and letting the kids decide their gender, known as 'Theybies'. One of my favorite movies that I recently rewatched is The Warriors. 1970's, New York City, gangs out for supremacy and a long way home for the Warriors as they are outnumberd and hunted down.
