The Legion Outriders: A Star Wars Legion Podcast

Hey Outriders, welcome back to another episode.  It's been an eventful two weeks.  Jeff returns from Batuu and Rise of the Resistance with a brief spoiler-free insight about the new Disneyland ride.  There have been ups and downs on the Legion front.  Asmodee changed their replacement policy, and some units made it to stores and shelves, while some were delayed.  Lastly, we finally got a freshly updated Rules Reference Guide from FFG. Join us while we have a chat about Star Wars: Legion.             

Now there are two of them!  John tags in while Matt's not feeling great.  This was a fun episode to record, we had so much to discuss.  A light sprinkling of Star Wars news at the beginning, some discussion about both tanks that are right around the corner, and units we've had a change to play with recently. And oh yes...those sweet treats that FFG dropped on us.  We talk about Cad Bane, Padme, BX series droids, and ARC troopers.  Thanks for listening and we'll be recording again on February 29th.                

Well Outriders, the after-party is over...LVO2020 is a wrap! We all had a great time, and I'm already looking forward to LVO2021. In the meantime, we have a lot to unpack this episode. We welcome Daniel Roberts from the LVO Star Tours board, we also chat about our LVO experiences, heroic and not-so-heroic moments, Matt's SECOND win at a competitive event, four new Trooper Expansions, Battlefield Expansions, leaked cards, holy moly! Space travel sound rather perilous, get in this ground game!            

The guys shrug off the post-Holiday hangover just in time to start prepping for LVO, Matt talks about his first win in a competitive Legion event, and then the guys poo-poo each others LVO lists.  

Hey, for once we gambled and won on article release day! We talk about how excited we are for Convent Ops...err Covert Ops, the new Vital Assets, and, most importantly, themed paint sets!  

We break down Skirmish Mode, talk our first games with Dooku and Rex, and John counts down the 10 most obnoxious characters in Clone Wars.  

We chat about making transfers, lighting your vaporators, and we discuss which units we've liked most from Clone Wars so far.  

John reveals how he managed to win an RPQ with an all-Wookie list, plus we are knee deep in droid parts as the Clone Wars celebration continues. We talk first impressions from our games with the CIS and Republic.  

The countdown to Clone Wars has begun, but first, the guys reveal their lists for the upcoming RPQ, plus we make our first ever political statement that's sure to lead to our banishment from the airwaves.                

The great L.J. Pena drops by to talk Invader League, Clone Wars, and who we are voting for to be the Legion President.    

Clone Wars Watch continues, meanwhile we discuss our lists for the new meta and why we are burning for the new R2D2 expansion!  

What a week this has been! The meta has been upended with point changes all over the place. On top of that, Luke and Vader's Operative Command Cards have been revealed, and we talk about how shoretroopers are changing the way Imperial armies play.

We had to sadly skip a week, but we're back now with our thoughts post-Worlds, Josh has had a chance to get his brush on some Contrast paints, and we talk about the latest spoiler thanks to our friends in Europe!
