While Netflix is increasing its theatrical and Anime Output. The Streaming wars are heating up in response. Obi-Wan will have returning characters, but not the ones you think. The Suicide Squad looks great, and I mean that. All that, and Comic-Con may be back in a new way. Come take a listen.

We are back after last weeks detour. And we are back with episode 150. I can believe we hit 150 that's wild. Anyway this week is all about The Snyder Cut, ok not really but it a big portion. PlayStation buys Evo while Xbox sets its sights on Discord. Activision is in a tricky spot. Falcon and The Winter Solider is here and falls somewhat flat, despite setting up a bigger story. And the best Clone Wars is headed to Disney+. Meanwhile, Indiana Jones joins the 4k world. Disney shifts all its release dates, and we see what's up with the Oscars this year.

Lets take a minute to reflect on the bigger picture. Last week had some time devoted to a topic that maybe didn't need to be talked about, lets reflect on that. Also don't hate on people, just don't. Meanwhile, whos ready for Zack Snyder's Justice League? How about The Falcon and the Winter Solider? I sure am.

The Microsoft acquisition of Bethesda is complete, so what does that mean for the future? Marvels avengers is not helping its case, and is heading down the Anthem path. WandaVision had an underwhelming finale, and the Flash is setting up things to come. While the Powerpuff girls are headed to the CW. Star Trek once again teases its film future. Amazon boasts that Coming 2 America had the best streaming debut, even though the movie was very mediocre. Meanwhile Disney+ and Space Jam cause a bit of a row, and Nick takes on the culture war.

Switch XL rumors are swirling once again. PlayStation state of play dropped a Yuffie sized bomb. Pokemon is finally changing it up after 25 years. And some developers just dont want you to buy their game. Netflix is getting more anime, The Simpsons isnt going anywhere anytime soon, and the Arrowverse is back. Meanwhile WandaVision is going places. George RR Martin is getting two different adaptations. Superman isnt gonna be the same anymore, and we are getting a a sequel to a great MCU movie.

Its a video game centric week as we discuss the official death of Anthem, Blizzcon announcements, trouble is brewing at several developers while other studios are growing. Sony continues to go in a strange trajectory, while Chicago Lawmakers make the billionth attempt at outlawing violent video games. Plus big news from the TCA upfronts for Disney+ and Paramount+. What's new on streaming, and also more information about the Snyder Cut and what to expect from Spider-Man.

We have a bit of a mid cycle refresh of an episode this week. Nintendo graced us with a new Direct. Xbox drops a new headset. PlayStation drops some release dates, and Kingdom Hearts is coming to PC. New Amazon CEO recommits to gaming, as we all watch and wonder why. The PS5 may have a dualsense problem, while gamers debate the morality of the nemesis system patent, and CD Projekt Red faces ransomware. Earnings call news: F2P for both Ubisoft and Blizzard, and of course a new CoD, and the future of Anthem may be in clear view. Scalpers in the UK may be a think of the past, as us scalpers focus their attention on a new target. CW lays down some renewals, and Lucasfilm cuts ties. Well we inch ever deeper into 2021. We finally have a release date for the new Pokémon Snap. Bungie will be shutting down their Halo stats servers next month, an end to an era. Also a CES 2021 recap. Lucasfilm Games is back baby! And with it a New Indiana Jones Game, and an Ubisoft Star Wars game, yes you read that right, Ubisoft. Duracell is not to be trusted when it comes to gaming news, Gotham Knights overhauls its combat. Steam has an amazing 2020. Streaming is coming out on top once again, and Disney+ has updated for its MCU shows. We finally have an idea about what Amazons LotR show will be focused on and the CW passes on an Arrowverse Spinoff. We also get confirmation about the future of Deadpool 3, as well as the future of the MCU. Also Martian Manhunter will be in the Snyder Cut and Ray Fisher isnt backing down.
