What happens when all the major studios pull out of comic con? nothing really, it keeps going because comic con is more then movies and television. We also learned about some major Ubisoft shakeups, kart racers are making a comeback, and Sony's Project Q leaks. Plus Barbenheimer makes for the 4th biggest box office weekend, MOVIES are in fact back! Also due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA Strikes, i have dedicated some time talking about old movies, this week we have my favorite movies made in the 1950's.

In solidarity with the WGA & SAG-AFTRA Strike this will be our last week reporting on new and newly released TV and Movie content, so we will go out with a bang a review of Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part I. Also the Xbox-Activision acquisition is one step closer to completion, finally. Also we will start talking about old movies, and going over things that are already out to you san enjoy content without being a scab! Lets all take a listen!

If the title doesn't give it away, Wolverine is finally wearing his comics accurate suit. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! 24 years later and its finally happening. Anyway, Microsoft seems to have won its case against the FTC, and its acquisition of ActivisionBlizzard should be able to go through. The Emmys have announced their nominees, Ashoka released a trailer, and Bog Iger isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That and a whole lot more.

Happy Fourth of July! Well the FTC v Xbox case ended, and yeah, the FTC doesn't know what they are doing. The Sims could be the next game to go F2P, and Stray is finally coming to Xbox, and Ubisoft is remaking Black Flag just in time for Skull n Bones. Jon Favreau opens up about Din Djarin, Kevin Bacon heads back to TV and Netflix seems to be getting HBOs best hits? All hail the rise of Barbenheimer, Indy makes a small whip in the box office, and stop asking Russel Crowe about Gladiator 2. Plus we have a spoiler filled review of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. This week was a doozy, how about that FTC v. Xbox case, that is a bonafied shit show. Sony and Microsoft say some wild things in their emails, thats for sure. Tears of the Kingdom sold more copies than expected, Among us heads to TV and Todd Howard talks starfield. Giancarlo wants to still play Moff Gideon, Tomb Raider is still coming from PWB, and Paramount+ cancels a Star Trek show. Sony pulls a Spider universe film, James Mangold talks about his movies, The Flash faces troubles, and we find out who the next Superman will be.

This week we have a review of DC's The Flash, and after a long wait, it did not disappoint. Nintendo held a long and fruitful direct. Netflix held their annual Tudum event, and the FTC is smoking the same stuff as the UK's CMA. We also got news on two PlayStation movie ventures, Star Trek Strange New Worlds returns to screens, and Sony dropped a bloody and brutal Kraven the Hunter Trailer.

E3 might be cancelled, but what happened over the last few days sure feels like E3. We had an Xbox Games Showcase, Ubisoft Forward, Summer Games Fest, Capcom Showcase, and and whole lot more. And boy, how about that Starfield Direct, that is the first time I've been excited for a Bethesda game. Also the Writers strike claims new victims, unsurprisingly, Netflix gets new subscribers, and stick around for a spoiler filled review of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

This week we have a review of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, which you wont want to miss. We also have all the news out of both Meta and Apples new conferences, where a lot of new head based hardware was announced. We learned some major shakeups are coming at GameStop, and the WGA strike continues. No movement on the ABK Xbox merger, and The Rock is getting another standalone movie in the Fast Saga.

How about that succession ending, it stuck the landing and that's all that matters, meanwhile the Arrowverse left us, no whimper no bang, just and end. Nintendo continues its fight against itself and its fans, and Konami is just in it for the snakes. Spider-Man's future gets an uplifting update, and The little Mermaid fails to make a splash outside of the US. That and more, come take a listen.

PlayStation had theird first state of play in a while, and boy was it a banger. Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, Spider-Man 2, and a lot of other sequels surprisingly. Netflix is finally bringing the heat on those of you that share passwords, The CW is ending at least the way we know it, streaming services are entering a new era. Also Indiana Jones wows critics in the wrong way, Deadpool 3 starts production amid the WGA strike, and Fast X is a hell of a ride.

So here we are at a point where the EU has approved the ABK deal for the same reasons that the UK denied the deal, its unreal. We've learned that GTA 6 may be coming sooner then anyone expected. SquareEnix wants to keep growing, and Sony contracts. The WGA strike claims another victim, and who is excited for Fast X?

This week is dominated by the affects of the WGA strike so lets talk about what is gonna get delayed. Also gaming seems to be beating at a normal pace so nothing major, other then EA posing massive profits, shocker, I know. And of course we have a review of Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3.

You Heard that Right! Today marks the 5th anniversary of the start of this podcast, and how are we celebrating? By treating it like any other week of course! lol. Anyway, this weeks has some fun topics. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out and we have a early feelings review, we are a week out from the CMA's decision on the Xbox ABK deal, The Writers Strike is official, and we finally got our first look at Dune Part II. Yes you read that correctly, the MCU is getting its first F-Bomb and its not coming from the merc with a mouth. The CMA blocks the Microsoft ABK deal in a shocking twist, that will surely end the way we all expect it to. SEGA unionizes, Netflix brings back a classic, and Pircard gives the D its hero moment. Cinemacon is underway and the studios brought out all the big guns. Come take a listen.

Its Morphin Time! Did anyone else notice how cheesy The MMPR 30th anniversary special was? Also the absence of certain people was extremely noticeable. Mando ended today, and it was not as satisfying as I had hoped. Star Trek Picard brought the D, and the F to the party, but who invited the Borg? Sonic and the Angry Birds are getting together, and Oppenheimer is not going to let Barbara drop the bomb on him. That and more on this weeks episode!

Yes MAX is coming, because this is clearly the greatest name for a streaming service, while also showing off its new content. Star Wars Celebration Europe was this past weekend, and it laid out all the ways we can hope for a bright future in a galaxy far, far, away. And we go deep into the Mushroom Kingdom to bring you a review of the Super Mario Bros movie!

What are you doing in my swamp, because Shrek 5 is closer then you think. E3 is cancelled, and probably forever if we believe the games media. Scott Pilgrim is returning to our screens, and with the same cast as the movie. The Mandalorian brings the cameos and make sure to stick around because we will have a review of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

We've got a John Wick Chapter 4 review in todays episode so make sure to stick around till the end. But the Second Dominion war seems to be heading our way in the star trek universe, the Unreal Engine is literally forging new paths, the Power Rangers are back, and Shazam 2 was funnier then it had any business being.
