C4 Young Adults

This is our second week in our How Will You Live? series, and Mark unpacks Ephesians 4:18-32, where he talks about sin and our response to it.

Every single follower of Jesus will either find their identity vertically in Christ or will shop for it horizontally in the situations, experiences, and relationships of daily life. We have discovered in the first three chapters of Ephesians that finding our vertical identity in Christ is what truly satisfies in this life. But we can’t stop there. Once our identity is found in Christ it must propel us to live differently, and that’s what this series is about. Join us as we unpack chapters 4-5 in Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus and discover how we live out of the abundance of who we are in Christ.

Ephesians 3 teaches that God created the Church so that His wisdom would be made known to the world. For this to take place, Paul prays that we would have the power and strength to comprehend the breadth, and length and height and depth of the love of God.

This week during C4 we dive into who you are when it comes to God’s master plan in building His church.

In order to understand who we are we have to look into our past and see who we were. We need to look in the present and see what God has done. And we need to look into the future and see who God is calling us to be.

If you could describe your Christian life in one word what would it be? Why is it that when most people think of their Christian life they wouldn’t describe it as one that is lived in power? In the last half of Ephesians chapter one Paul lays out a prayer for the Ephesian church that we can pray today and he helps us see how to live with the same power that rose Jesus from the dead.

The apostle Paul helps us define what it means to have our identities shaped by what God has done for us and who He says we are.
