The guys begin the program talking MLB playoffs and thoughts on the Yankees after they beat the A's and Trent has an Iowa football theory at the cornerback spot. Marc Morehouse from the Cedar Rapids Gazette then drops by to talk more Hawkeyes with the fellas.

Ken and Trent are joined by NBC Chicago's David Kaplan with thoughts on the Cubs season and a look at the Bears, Jon Miller from Hawkeye Nation looks at Iowa football off the bye week and some basketball and a look at the Cyclones with radio analyst Eric Heft.

Ken and Trent look back at last night's wild card game and the end of the season for the Cubs. Then college football talk with the Sporting News Bill Bender.

Hour 2 starts up with a look at the Hawkeye football team, then Jordan Bernfield stops in to talk about the Cubs as they prepare for tonight's wild card game. The guys finish the hour with NFL talk with Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports.

The guys open up the show talking about Game 163 between the Brewers and Cubs, then get into the show from Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Monday Night Football. They wrap up the hour talking about Iowa State football and the uneven nature of the season.

The 2nd hour starts up with Cyclone talk with Dylan Montz from the Ames Tribune, Nick Athan previews the Monday Night game with the Chiefs and Broncos and Bama Bob on the week that was in college football.

Ken and Trent open up the show talking NFL and the 1st place Bears, the Cyclones loss to TCU and Joe Mauer possibly walking away. Scott Dochterman stops by to talk Hawkeyes and Cornhuskers and then a look around the NFL.
