Cancel culture is passion, abused. Ugh, I hate it. Like, what rights are you actually fighting for, when you are willing to put the person beside you in jeopardy? I hate labels. I really hate them. We, humans give power to it without realizing the weight.  Communication is a 2-way model. What you say, can be used with or against you at any point of time.  I was so affected because I didn't want to see the day, that masses would misconstrue the magic in podcasting in a negative light. Also, I know how much good intentions & hard work go into podcasting, hence, I feel for the trio. As a woman, I also know how trigger words can trip me back to memory lane of a haunted past. This is more than evident why compartmentalizing is critical. I said this once and I'll say it again in a positive light, content creators are never content. Myself, included. That's why we started on this journey because we want to project that belief in our heads that we can bring something bigger & better to the table.  However, curating your content to the degree of compromising your creativity is a very, very slippery slope. A good friend always advised me in Malay," Jangan Cakap Sudah" to anything in life.  We're a multicultural country that continues to strive against race discrimination, individually, but in no way are our lives jeopardized throughout the journey.  Also, I'm sharing my personal experience of overcoming religious ivory towers goers just because, I don't come from a pious family and because, I had a history.

While we get caught in the lockdown, what about people with disabilities? Are we gonna count them out? The Deaf or Hard of Hearing has always been strong in my head when I first wanted to start ADOSSIER.  The least I can do as of now is learn their language & let the world know, that ignorance is a choice. It is not bliss.  Why ask them to conform to "norms", when we can learn their language? I hate Aristotle & I can't curse him because, I was recording this during the fasting month. Ooh, its gonna get awkward without profanities.

Life in the Covid-19 lockdown is terrible for you just because you can't go outside to play, work and see your friends or loved ones?  Oh, BIG boohoo.  Just so you know, there are disowned war kids, sitting by the streets, domestic violence happening during this lockdown as we speak and there are people who have been living in isolation FOR YEARS: they're called Hikikomori in Japan. Try Googling Hollywood, Illinois OR Holywood, Dumfriesshire, Scotland and tell me what you'll find. Believe it or not, Hollywood actually started really holy. I got curious because I stared at the sign for too long. But, between the Mother & Father of Hollywood, which one do you deem true? 

I'M BACKKK! Get cosy as I open up about how I realized I may have social anxiety after being in LA, California, 3 times and what I am going to do about it.  Funny thing is.. I have performed on stage before. I just suck at small talk. 

My ethnicity is Malay, so how do I explain that to my foreign friends? Do you have that difficulty too? Our history is so rich & vast that I'll end up starting a history class. Like yeah, you're Bawean, Java or Bugis, but how far do you know, get what I mean?  And there is a resaon why Malay people features, look so close to Thais, Vietnamese, Filipinos, Papua New Guinea, Australian aborigines and even Hawaiian people.  My maternal side is Malaysian, Negeri Sembilan. My great grandma, whom I am fortunate to meet, speaks Bahasa Nogoghi & Tail. I'm sure coming from Negeri Sembilan, we have Minangkabau blood but I found out from one of my aunt that my long, long ancestors were of Russian descent. Influence or origin, I don't know. My paternal side is of Malaccan descent and it was said that my great grandmother has Chinese blood? Once again, influence or origin, god knows. Bloodlines, man. But, the surrealism of this case has opened my eyes to a reminder that: we are NOTHING but just small, puny human beings on this Earth and ANYTHING can happen to us. This is the "hustle" era, where conversations have become quantity over quality, unfortunately. Digital revolution over the industrial revolution.  In Singapore, there is a huge surge in the podcasting industry. Not that it wasn't known before, but because this time, it has the potential to unlock a passive income and eventually, break the vanilla cycle of the Media industry in Singapore. So, stop asking me whether I'm going to migrate to YouTube. I like vocals. If anything is visually disturbing, you can always use a paper bag over. As long as it has a great voice.  The podcasting scene in Singapore has the potential to reach badassery. I still have not listened to a True Crime podcast, up till now. Visually, I am sold to Sherlock & Luther. I gathered my girlfriends & asked them why they love True Crime podcast & the answer was different as day & night.
