He started his career at the age of 15, creating special effects make-up that lead him down the road to win a national special effects make-up contest in "Monsterland Magazine." The first feature film was shot on a 35 mm Panavision. Notably, it won a "Silver Award," and was an apocalyptic horror feature film he produced and directed called, "Ceremony."
