  • Rooted in a Local Community of the Spirit

    17/02/2018

For us to flourish and grow we need to be rooted in a community of faith. This provides a sense of family, belonging and support. In Acts 2 we see the birth of the first faith community after they got planted in the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The fruit of being rooted in the soil of the Spirit was amazing and we can identify 10 characteristics of this life. They were devoted to these core values of the Word of God, Fellowship, Communion & Prayer, Signs & Miracles, Being Family, Generosity, Life Together, Praise & Worship, Community Impact and Evangelism.

  • Rooted in the Lordship of Christ

    03/02/2018

For us to flourish we also need to be rooted in the Lordship of Christ. Some believers receive Jesus as Saviour but never experience the empowerment, joy and freedom of living under His Lordship and authority. Wherever the Spirit of Christ is Lord, there is freedom. His Lordship helps us fully align our lives to the ways and purposes of God. Partnering with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and leadership brings divine order and peace into our lives. When we put Christ first in everything then provision for all other needs will flow from that. So let’s in our hearts set apart Christ as Lord (1 Peter 3:15).

  • Covenantal Exchange

    19/12/2017 Duration: 38min

God relates to humanity through Covenants, which are relational exchanges. Marriage is a good example, as a man gives himself 100% to his wife and the wife herself 100% to her husband. It’s a complete giving of the one to the other. This is how God deals with us too, as through covenant He gives us all He is, and we give him all we are. It’s how we access and manifest the Kingdom into the earth. His eternal covenant of exchange can never be broken. The covenant formation has 5 elements; the covenant call, cutting, sign, words & gift. The most important part of the covenant is the shedding & mixing of blood because God works through a blood economy. Life is in the blood and only the shedding of blood establishes covenant, forgiveness of sins & access to the Life of God.

  • Celebrating the New

    19/12/2017 Duration: 38min

The Gospel has two powerful halves; total forgiveness and a brand new identity. On Good Friday we celebrate that Jesus was put to death for ours sins. That He took our broken, corrupted identity into the grave, and our old sinful nature died with Him. On Resurrection Sunday we celebrate that we rose with Him into a brand new identity, born of His very own divine nature. Christianity is not about behaviour, but about birth. We are all born with a sinful nature into first Adam after he fell in the Garden of Eden, and we all need to be reborn into last Adam, Jesus Christ. We are either still in first Adam, lost and sinful, or we have jumped the blood line and are in Christ who made us righteous, holy & flawless forever.

  • Amazing Grace

    19/12/2017 Duration: 38min

On 31 October 2017 we celebrated the 500th Anniversary of The Reformation, which dramatically changed Christianity. It was a powerful return to the Gospel of God’s Glory and Grace in the face of Christ. It was sparked by the bible translation by John Wickliff, from Latin into English, which ultimately became available to all. This opened the eyes of Reformers like Martin Luther who challenged the Catholic Church about their unbiblical beliefs like Purgatory and the use Indulgences. The Reformation was a return to the revelation of justification by faith alone through grace, apart from works. That Gods amazing grace in Christ paid for all of our sin and wiped all of our debt. That through his one perfect sacrifice Jesus made us perfectly holy and complete for all time. It was a powerful declaration of acquittal as God freely gives his righteousness away to us, liberating us forever from the guilt, condemnation & power of sin.

  • God’s Blood Economy

    09/12/2017

All relationship with God is based on covenant, which means “to cut”. The main covenants in the Bible are cut in blood as part of God’s blood economy. The Abrahamic Covenant was based on grace, the Mosaic or Old Covenant based on performance, and the New Covenant based on grace in Jesus Christ. All covenants were cut with Israel with no Gentiles in sight. We were never invited to the Mosaic Covenant based on the Law. We Gentiles later get grafted into the New Covenant which was cut between the Father and His Son Jesus Christ on our behalf. In Christ we also become Abrahams seed and heirs according to the promise. Celebrating Communion is so powerful because we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again. We as His Sons & Daughters are God’s convenant partners in the earth, living in the abundant blessings of our inheritance in Christ, and releasing the Kingdom of God everywhere we go.
