This week Ben bathes in the glory of a Manchester derby win, Scott McTominay is on for player of the year again and Arsenal defence looking… solid? This week Ben points and laughs at West Ham’s defending, Duncan points out Adama Traore is even harder than he looks and Matt’s points all come from Liverpool. Its wildcard time for the joint team and in the fixture preview Matt thinks goal shy Palace could get their solidity back and that Everton’s fixtures might not be as tough as they seem. Ben looks at whether the new manager bounce is over at Watford. Duncan sees shoots of recovery at Bournemouth while West Ham look set for a drubbing. Is it time to drop Vardy, is the party finally finally over or has it moved back to Pukki’s house? With Villa’s fixtures should we move on from Grealish and which Spurs differential is worth considering? 

Duncan and Gary look back over a low scoring gameweek but one of them has done rather well. Duncan breaks Ings whilst benching Traore. Gary considers triple captaining a defender and there’s a maverick double gameweek pick for the FFFanatics joint team.

Duncan, Ben and Andy discuss the ultimate legendary ageing strikers. Ben spots lots of FPL options at Watford and bigs up the Arsenal defence, yes you read all that correct. Andy spots two delicious next two fixtures for one team. Roy books a bus for parking at the Etihad, while there is a team very low down the league expected to dish out a whipping this weekend. DLC is unlucky in front of goal, Almiron impresses all over the pitch and Williams is flying for Man United. Mean while Andy and Duncan go maverick in the midfield for the joint team.

Duncan and Matt take inspiration from a Christmas Carol and look back over the festive fixtures past and discuss what went so wrong in one Scrooge’s case and so right in the other’s. They look ahead to the future Double Gameweek 24 and talk Liverpool triple ups. Ben, Andy and Duncan look back over GW10, which at last is not a low scoring week! Andy gets excited again about the Man Utd attack with their free flowing moves and even talks about that little thing called hope. Ben delights in a tackle inspired by the Rugby world cup and a Xhaka meltdown to boot. Duncan reminisces over that 0-9 result and picks out one player for his breakthrough performance. There’s discussion of unexpected high scoring keepers, the return of the FPL trolls and that De Bruyne goal that wasn’t.  In the GW11 previews there’s one more game to watch and decide on Man Utd assets before their great fixture run, Ben encourages us to keep an eye on the league cup games and Duncan highlights a teams’s record busting weakness with an opposition’s flank in form.
