Actress and Musician Kathleen Munroe joins us in the studio to talk about the hilarious lo-fi gold bucket heist involving Julio Nivelo who made off with 1.6 million dollars in pure gold, it's one wild ride. The heist is simple but the aftermath? Not so much.

In June of 1862 nine bushrangers (Australian cowboys) raided a gold transport and made away with 17 kilos of gold nuggets. It was one of the biggest gold heists in Australian History mate! Matt and BJ are away this week so Simon hosts this mini episode covering the Great Feather Heist. This is one of the more bizarre heists we've covered with a host of eccentric personalities and a person in the center of it dead set on getting his hand on some exotic bird feathers for one of the strangest reasons you'll ever here. January 13, 2006. Five men walk into the Banco Rio in Argentina. Two wore hoods, one wore a doctor's uniform, one wore a grey suit and the last one wore a wig and referred to themself as "Susanna." This is the Banco Rio Heist and it might be one of the craziest, best heists we have ever covered. For real this one is one of the rare occasions it actually does seem that it's right out of a hollywood blockbuster. In Heist news we have a happy update on the shark heist a few weeks ago. As well as some coverage on the return of the Wizard of Oz slippers! There's no place like HEEEEIST!

January 24th 1995, Dublin. A gang of up-and-coming heisters pulled off a cash-in-transit heist that went down as one of the largest cash robberies in Irish history. It's got 4x4's. It's got a monk. It's got the Irish army. It's another action packed heist sent in by one of our listeners.
