Aron welcomes long time friend Clint Casper to the show.  Clint is a very active outdoor writer for numerous publications and blog style websites.  They talk the changes they have seen in the hunting industry and the changes that have been brought about via social media.  They talk about the pitfalls of constant interaction in those channels and the desire to maybe step away or "retire" from "the 'Gram!".  Clint also breaks down his archery setup and some key ingredients to success in the field.

Aron welcomes Dr. Preston Ward to the podcast this week.  Dr. Ward is the driving force behind Man Physio, the physical therapy program built for the outdoorsman.  Dr Ward traveled up to Riverton to give a hand on session for the crew here at Kifaru, helping give tricks and tips to longevity in the mountains.  He and Aron go over the items they worked on, and some of the things that many outdoor athletes could do to better improve their experiences on the mountain.  Lots of knowledge passed around this podcast!

Aron welcomes long time friend and trad archer extraordinaire Chris Parrino to the podcast.  Chris has been one of our most requested guests now that Aron is getting back into the traditional archery game.  Chris is a very effective hunter with the stick bow, having taken several animals including some massive Brown and Grizzly bears.  They go over some of those hunts, as well as some of the key points that make a successful trad bow hunter. 

Aron welcomes Jay Vallotton back to the show. Jay is an Emotional Health Guide, Pastor, and runs a men's discipleship program called BraveCo.  They have a good conversation going over mental, physical, and spiritual health.  They dive into stoicism, controlling your emotions, and different elements of self-discipline.   Another great conversation between these two over some non-typical topics.  

Aron welcomes Gregg McLeod from Green Beret Fitness to the podcast.  Green Beret Fitness is an athletic and endurance competition that reflects some of the things Gregg was tested on in the military.  Aron and him dive into some of the things that set GBF apart from other fitness races and make them one of the premiere events around.  

Aron welcomes Bruno Fallon back to the podcast.  Bruno is the Director of Operations for Born Primitive Tactical, retired military serviceman with 40+ years for active duty and DOD service.  As training, fitness, and health are paramount for both Bruno and Aron, they dive into diet, exercise, the sugar epidemic, and the importance of daily water intake. Little more about Bruno: Bruno retired in 2023 from a combined 40+ years of active duty and DOD government civilian service. His active-duty service was as a US Army Ranger, Special Forces operator, and Night Stalker flight lead. Bruno accumulated over eight years of combat/imminent danger service while on active duty. He then spent over a decade as a civilian with Naval Special Warfare Development Group in their operations directorate and as the director of urban training. Bruno was recruited by Born Primitive in late 2022 to develop our Tactical apparel and create a line best suited for law enforcement and global military units to better conduct their miss

Aron welcomes his dentist, Dan Hauck to the podcast.  Dan is a lifelong resident of Riverton, and has led quite the interesting life.  Dan is an avid hunter, fisher, and outdoorsman, and has been part of the Outdoor Dream Foundation, helping disabled youth and combat wounded veterans get into hunting and the outdoors.  Dan also dives into a darker time in his life, and his journey back!  An incredible podcast from one of Riverton's own. Aron welcomes Kifaru's Tactical Rep "Wally" to the podcast. Wally has been working hand in hand with our lead designer Eric Bender to develop an all new rifle carrying system, dubbed the "Scabbard". He is also spearheading many of the training and outdoor skills camps that Kifaru will be offering in the future. Aron and him have a good time, maybe too good, talking about the new rifle carry system, future plans with the Kifaru Kollective, and a whole lot more over a bottle of Screwball.

Aron welcomes Clay Hayes back to the podcast.  Clay is the season 8 winner of the hit television show ALONE.  Aron and him recap his experience and how things have changed for him and his family since the show.  Great time as always catching up with Clay!

Aron welcomes Dan Gates to the podcast.  Dan works with CRWM or Coloradans for Responsible Wildlife Management.  They are one of the groups leading the charge against emotional wildlife regulation that have been plaguing Colorado as of late.  As a 501c4, they operate as political advocacy group that have a direct line to the capitol and work with many of the other conservation groups that many of us are a part of.  They discuss the past and present struggles that Colorado has had regarding wildlife regulation and the ballot based management decisions. Aron is joined today by the lead designer Eric Bender to discuss the Ark Frame, the new carbon fiber frame offering from Kifaru.  They dive into all the process it took to get to this stage, and what sets the ARK ahead of the competition.  Also it's our first of many video podcasts in the new KifaruCast Studio!  

Aron welcomes Ron Nemetchek from North River Outfitting to the podcast today.  Ron owns and operates North River Outfitting in Northern British Columbia.  Aron spent 5 weeks up there is past fall not only hunting mountain goat but also was helping on a variety of hunts and came back with a slew of stories from up there.  Ron has been in the guiding and outfitting industry for over 40 years, as well as being a bush pilot, so he has some stories to share as well!  Great time listening to these two catch up after season!
