In this fun episode we are joined by our friend Paul Levesque who gives us some insight about what it's like to be a single punk rock dude looking for a normal punk rock chick. He shares a particularly disturbing one-sided love story and talks about how the stereotypes of dudes in bands can be unfair. We also talk about his bands and new record label. Episode 7 is up! We got the chance to chat with Gillian McGee of the Chicago based band Turnspit. A lot of the conversation was on a serious note. In this very special episode, Jessica and Kristen catch up and read an email from a listener.  After that, we play our interview with Rob Rufus, drummer of the band Blacklist Royals.  Rob is also a cancer survivor, author of the book, Die Young With Me, and all-around kick ass dude.  Kristen and Rob discuss the book Rob is working on now, the new album Blacklist just released, and his love of punk rock.  Kristen and Rob talk about Howard Stern, family life and plan a stand up comedy show.  Enjoy! Episode 30 marks the end of Season One of the Mable Syndrome Podcast, but don't worry, we will be back for Season Two shortly. Kristen and Jessica start out this episode with the usual talk about disgusting things like pizza porn and Jessica's inability to do math. But, then we reminisce about the past 30 episodes of the podcast and give some background about the band Authority Zero to set up the interview. Episode 26 in in the books and it's a doozie. Our friend, Lauren, caught up with Shawna of War on Women at a recent Warped Tour stop shortly after the controversy with The Dickies. She talks about what "punk" means to her and why the band choose to bring Safer Scenes with them to Warped. Shawna opens up about everything from Trump to hardcore bands to when to expect their new record. Before the interview, Jessica catches up with Lauren and they do a round of rapid-fire questions and set up the interview. We made it to episode 25 and this one is filled with lots of punk talk and we cover many bands, see the list below.
