Cabin Fever - Fred Entertainment

This week Aaron is struck down with the man flu, and so Rev. pHitzy is joined by stalwart Cabin Dwellers Shona and Bruce, as well as a guest appearance by their friend Chris. Rogue bus drivers are discussed, as well as a few other strange and distasteful tales from around the globe.

So the results of the first Cabin Fever Movie Club movie is in. And we can all agree that it was mostly horrible. We hear from the listeners for the first time due to the glory of skype (and emailing sound files), while also getting a personal story in email form. It's all wrapped up with a mention of St Patrick's day, the aftermath of Red Nose Net, and a song from the band Floater.

While Brian tries to create a rift between Aaron and Quick Stop overlord Ken Plume, the boys manage to giggle their way through stories that go from the weird to the pointless. Shameless plugging of www.rednosenet.com occurs and Caleb Lee returns with another ditty to soothe your ears at the end.

This week, our cabin dwellers discuss all the colours of the sexual rainbow. Thanks to our dirty-minded listeners, no kinky stone is left unturned. Be it bad medical advice, inappropriate touching, or badly thought out bicycle design; all topics are generously splashed with dollops of Au De No-Pants-Dance. While the boys are both horrified and fed by a new taste test from Iowa, they still manage to talk at length about the Oscars, LOST, and possible future interactive fun-time happy things to do for the listeners. Oh, and Brian is back. So win/lose, really.

Brian couldn't pull himself from the brink of death in time this week to record the best darn podcast fake money can buy, so Aaron recruits internet entrepreneur and man-about-town Widgett Walls to add a certain level of class and random knowledge to the proceedings. Topics of getting TV wrong, 12-year-old fathers, and kissing bans are all broached with gusto, and Aaron actually remembers to include the song at the end of the show this week, too! The Cabin boys are joined by their loyal friends Shona and Bruce to help with a large and intimidating taste test of Chinese and Thai "delights". They announce the details of their video competition (or, at least, they tell you where you can get them), and once again they have to apologise for the crappy sound. It's becoming a habit.

Our Cabin Dwellers grow more and more frustrated with their shoddy equipment and are forced to record under less than stellar circumstances. The stress and strain of the situation makes Aaron break down and spill about his first fight, his schoolboy crushes, and his mood swings, all under the watchful eye of Dr. Phit. Taste test ahoy! The Fever spreads south of the border! This week our cabin dwellers get their monkeys out to help them rate an array of delightful snacks direct from the land of tequila. Everything from cakes to lollipops, corn chips to cookies, all flavoured with limes, chillies and salt. Yummy!

After a week's hiatus, The Fever returns with a bumper instalment, minus Texas-bound Aaron. Brian, Shona and Bruce attempt to make do with tales of ramps, sticks, and flashlight sex aids. Also, the trio try to get to the bottom of Prison Break's all-encompassing crapness.

Our dynamic duo are reunited and celebrate in typical fashion. They discuss Aaron's charity moustache cultivation, overzealous trick-or-treat security, the Dawn Of The Dead remake's possible superiority over the original, plus a plethora of other banal subjects too lame to print here. Our cabin-girl Shona returns from the wilderness to add some quantity to the proceedings, but not necessarily any quality. This leads to talk of what not to do when urinating, some line treading on the subjects of our gay listeners, and Top 5 prospective lovers.
