The boys need a week off, so here is another episode of the radio version of The Pint. Professor Bill Foster adds much needed class to the show, as he sits down to talk. A local comic book historian, Bill and the Jo(h)ns discuss everything from the importance of reading to the subject of race in comics, and the real world. John remembers a book from his childhood fondly featuring a hero of color, and Sir Jon discusses the comedian that helped open his eyes to equality as a youth. And just when it sounds like it is getting too serious, we talk Magnum condoms for a bit. Listen In!

Sir Jon, John and special guest and John's wife Lindsay spend an hour discussing nothing. Or more accurately a show about nothing. From thirst causing pretzels to little people with lifts in their shoes, we break down what we love about this staple of American television and culture. From it's initially miniature first season order, to the 1.7 billion dollar deal for it's syndication, a true TV success story. Oh and we end up discussing the differences between Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler because we have to keep it classy.

Ganache sneak attacks Sir Jon with random events in pop culturedom that they had not discussed prior. From a true Hollywood hero turning 70 to Superman and his goddamned mustache through attempted murder over a card game, you know you are in for a fun and full Pint! Back from their adventures in beerland, Sir Jon and John dig into pop culture hard. From the celebrity graveyard to a Muppet sized controversy, the boys are back and spitting hot fire! John gives a quick Spider-Man:Homecoming review and Sir Jon will make you all want to pick up some Sam Glanzman comics STAT! Oh, and we watched a couple of films featuring some seriously snug trousers. It's a fresh Pint.

Sir Jon and John record live at the incredible brewtanical garden at Olde Burnside Brewery in East Hartford, CT. Jukebox blaring in the background, beer flowing like water, and talking with all kinds of friends, new and old. This is an adult field trip for the ages! We press the pause button on old chestnuts like whether the Hulk can beat Superman arm wrestling or which Highlander film was the best, in order to discuss this awesome brewery located in our state. Old friend and movie buff Nukilwa sits down to chat with the boys. Topics include outdoor activities learned about from Mark Twain books, how to avoid getting kidnapped and the shaming of Uncle Larry, that one relative we all have that gets drunk at a holiday and says or does something crazy. Coincidence? The least he could do is bring us back an interview with artist Rod Whigham. Hear as Rod tells tales of what major comic company gives shitty Christmas gifts and more! Also hear Gary talk to himself as he tries to shut off John's micro recorder. It's a G.I. Joe lovers delight of an episode.

So we tried to record our 9th episode and had to scrap it due to personal reasons. Then we had to scrap the retake due to technical issues. So here is a special bonus episode of our radio show on WESU FM. Special guest Larry Dwyer of Connecticut Cult Classics joins us and talks horror,horror and more horror. Along the way John does a bad Michael Caine impression whilst calling him Michael Keaton more than once, and it seems that no one remembers that it was Robert Preston in The Last Starfighter and The Music Man.
