Synopsis

Like a late night talk show without the cameras.

Episodes

  • 31/10/2021 Duration: 34min

Facebook (in their infinite wisdom) has decided to re-brand themselves. In this episode, Ric takes a look at how smart this may be. Or as the conclusion gets drawn here, how very stupid this idea is. After all, lipstick on a pig is nothing more than a pig wearing lipstick. Does this plan ever work? Is changing your name to avoid controversy ever a good idea? The answer to both of those questions is a simple "no". Ric will explain as he has been a part of a very similar thing and the end result was still the same. No matter how far you can run from your roots, you are still the same thing. You might be wearing lipstick while you are running but, you are still a pig. Which brings up the notion regarding social media. You are the product.NEXT WEEK: The Crazy Parade Get bonus content on Patreon Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
