Acts 20:28-38 As Paul wraps up his time in Miletus and speaks with a variety of leaders from around the area, he takes time to emphasize both the importance and the responsibilities of a leader. Taking after Jesus, a Christian leader of any kind should seek to first be a servant to those he or she is leading. Whether it be as a parent, a boss, a coach, a teacher, or any other sort of leader, the servant leader is one who has a soft heart and thick skin, develops others, and increasingly more generous.

As Paul’s time in Macedonia comes to an end, he leaves the churches in the area with a reminder about what is of most importance. Time after time, Paul preached only one message—repent and have faith in Jesus. These two things built the faithful life he lived and are the components of a faithful life for every follower of Jesus. Join us as we learn how repentance and faith are two sides to the same coin that leads to faithfulness.

How is God calling you to hear him? Don't sleep through life and miss out on what He has for you!

Acts 19:23-41 As Paul continues his time in Ephesus, the locals get stirred up in anger. The spread of Christianity in the area has caused a shift in people's financial and societal patterns. So angry are some that a riot ensues in defense of the status quo in Ephesus. The whole scene begs us to ask the question: What "temples" are we defending and are we fully committed to the way of Jesus?

Join us as we take a look into how God tells us to live our lives boldly and with courage, despite any outside pressure or fears we may feel.

Jesus came in weakness, not in power. It should be no surprise then that He is strongest in our weakness. When you are weak, then He is strong. Don’t hide your weakness. Admit it and accept it.

Doubt, unbelief, and wandering are all part of the human experience and faith. Yet, in our unfaithfulness, God remains with us. When we leave, He remains. If you have been unfaithful, He’s still there.

It is natural to experience fear in a broken and sinful world. Read the news for more than 30 seconds and you’ll begin to feel it well up in your throat. But, the promise of Christmas is that God is with us in our fear. So, close is He, that it’s His hope to replace it with an unwavering confidence in Him.

What do we do when we experience the incredible power of Jesus in our lives? Do we express gratitude, or will we come across as ungrateful?

Acts 19:8-22 Ephesus was known for being a center of power in the 1st Century world. It was known for its political, economic, cultural, and religious power. The Gospel, however, overwhelms all of it through its strength in healing and transformation. Have we lost sight of the true power of the Gospel and it's continuous ability to strengthen us and conquer the darkness in our world?

Acts 19:1-7 Upon Paul's arrival in Ephesus, he meets a group of men who are so close, but so far from knowing Jesus. They know about God's Kingdom and have been baptized by John, but are unaware of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Only when they believe in Him and are baptized do they experience the true filling of the Holy Spirit and a changed life. Are you like them? Are you so close to faith in Jesus but have yet to place your faith in Him? There is no "close enough" in following Jesus. It's all or nothing.

Acts 18:18-28 Following Paul's departure Corinth and back through the cities of Ephesus, Caesarea, Antioch (and more); we are introduced to Apollos--a newer and well-educated disciple of Jesus. His interaction with Priscilla and Aquila eventually leads to him landing in Corinth and becoming an essential leader among the church Paul first started. The entire series of events examples the power of pouring into people and the power of multiplication.
