Phil is joined by Bryan and Chad for the beginning of the 2018-2019 season and free agency opening up. We give our takes on the signings that were leaked prior to the official start, ones that happen in the middle of the show, our personal hope for our own teams, and our picks for how the rest of free agency will turn out.

Phil and Riley are back on Father's Day to talk all things from this past week and in the upcoming week. We start with the US Open and the deadly course of Shinnecock Hills that claimed many golfers scores, along with Phil Mickelson and his antics in the third round. (8:50) We make a stop at the pop culture corner to touch on Nas and Jay-Z/Beyonce's new albums, and The Incredibles 2. (12:48) The World Cup is off to the races with some good early matches with Mexico upsetting Germany, and Iceland putting the clamps on Messi. (17:40) The NBA Draft is on thursday so we talked top prospects and introduced our Overrated/Underrated/Properly Rated segment to give our takes on some prospects. (36:27) Riley give out his pick of the week with the Marlins, and Phil gives his best bet of under 2.5 goals for every match in the World Cup.

Phil is joined on the podcast by Tommy and first time guest Kyle to break down the 2018 World Cup. We go group by group to talk matchups, favorites, sleepers and hot takes. We touch on teams that we think might be able to make deep runs into the tournament, and close it out with giving our picks to win the Cup, both favorites and longshots, and then give our Golden Boot predictions.

Phil and Riley congratulate the Capitals on winning the Stanley Cup, Riley reviews Kanye's second album with Kid Cudi, and we touch on the world of golf with Dustin Johnson's walkoff win with the upcoming the US Open. We recap the NBA Finals and preview the draft and potential landing spots for LeBron and for the Warriors when they go their separate ways. We close with World Cup talk, with the group stage beginning on Thursday we talk favorites/sleepers. We give our picks of the week (Columbia to win their group, Marlins lose to the Giants).                       

Phil and Steven break down the events of Game 3 and the Warriors win on the back of Kevin Durant. We discuss what the Cavs need to do to avoid a sweep, and how the Warriors can slam the door shut on LeBron and his stay in Cleveland. We talk LeBron and his free agent destinations and what it would take to bring down the Warriors dynasty.

We're adding a new show to the Sports Landing podcast family hosted by our co-founders Phil and Riley. This will be a regular weekly show where we recap the past week in sports and pop culture, and also touch on upcoming events. We start off recapping the first two games in the NBA Finals, and briefly speak on the Colangelo Scandal. (9:20) Riley gives us the breakdown on the Pusha T and Drake diss track timeline and his takes on the new Kanye album. (17:20) As fans of Tiger Woods we speak on his performance at Memorial from this past weekend and how he looks going into the US Open for Father's Day Weekend. (21:35) Phil talks about how his Yankees have faired so far this season, and goes around the diamond breaking down the top stories in the rest of the MLB. (28:00) We preview Game 3 of the NBA finals quickly, and then finish (30:50) with our World Cup picks for when the tournament begins on June 14th.

Phil is joined by special guest Tom Sterner to preview the NBA Finals. Tom is a former NBA Assistant coach of 23 years, spent time with the Magic, Warriors, and Raptors. We make our predictions on the fourth matchup between the Warriors and Cavs, what LeBron has to do to overcome tremendous odds, how the Warriors could potentially set up the sweep, and how the role players need to step up for Cleveland. We touch on LeBron's place in the GOAT conversation and where he can end up if he leaves yet again this offseason.

Phil and Chad talk about both the Eastern and Western Finals in the NBA, how the Warriors can go to their 4th consecutive finals, if the Rockets can adjust to comeback. We talk about LeBron and the lack of help from the supporting cast, and how Brad Stevens can win the series for the undermanned Celtics. Later, we touch on the NBA Draft with how the lottery turned out, and where we think some of the top prospects can land.

Phil and Chad recap what was left in the Round 1 aftermath, give our takes on how Round 2 has begun, and what adjustments need to be made to get to the next level. We fast forward at the end to discuss Game 2 of the Celtics/Sixers series as well.

Phil and Ian sit down to discuss the NFL Draft. We bounce around the first round talking about our thoughts on the QB's selected in the top 10, as well as our favorite and least favorite selections. We dive deep into the later rounds of the draft to talk about some gems we feel were picked way too late, and interesting selections as a whole.

Phil and Logan give their picks for the top 10 in this year's NFL draft, ranging from the first overall pick in Cleveland, to the trades we think can shake up all the draft boards. We then pivot to talking about our favorite picks outside of the top 10 and then close out the episode with our sleeper picks.
