How can we live a life worthy of the gospel? How can we live a life that demonstrates its immense value? As believers we have been given a great gift. We have been instructed to guard it, live it and share it. We do not define it, but rather the Gospel of Jesus Christ defines who we are. This study is about deciding to live every day as we have been called: “Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ”

Victory is brought in our lives as we comprehend Christ! As we embrace the truth, and grasp the truth victory takes root in our lives.

To have victory we have to love God, Love Others, and learn to serve. The hope of our calling is in eternity. The payoff is not always right now. Paul knew how easily the Ephesian Christians could loose that sense of where this is all headed and become discouraged. So this message adds perspective the the battle we fight.

The key to victory is knowing who your fighting. Understanding the enemy is the key to not only fighting to win, but it will give you purpose in the fight. In this message, Steven shares some frank and intense truths about the enemy.

Sometimes in this battle we face, we are overwhelmed. If we are not careful, we will convince ourselves that we are alone. Is this true? Pastor Steven teaches us that we are not alone in the battle. We are filled with God's Spirit and given God's Truth.

Although, we journey in our bodies, and though we live this life with the limitations of time and space, and health and strength. Although, we walk in the flesh and live our lives limited by who we are physically, notice we do not war according to the flesh.

As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle of some sort on a daily basis. In warfare, battles are fought on different fronts, for different reasons, and with varying degrees of intensity. The same is true in spiritual warfare. Our spiritual battles are real, even though we cannot physically see the attacker.

We often wage the wrong war. Today, Pastor Steven teaches us that the real battle is not against the people around us but the enemy who is the evil accuser. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but it is in the heavenly places. As you prepare for battle it is important to engage in the right battle.

Like a warrior knowing that he has the tools that he needs for battle, God has prepared each of us for the fight we find ourselves in. God wants us to be confident of Victory. The real question is: Are we ready for this Battle? Today, Pastor Steven encourages each of us to be ready and prepared. The battle is real, but so is the strength God gives.

So you have walked the aisle and have said the prayer, now what? You have made a personal and real commitment to following Jesus Christ. Is this all there is? NO! Today Pastor Steven begins a series dealing honestly about what to do when you find yourself in a battle, struggling to make the right decisions. You can stand firm, even when you are under great attacks.
