Episodes

  • RttP #8 - End of Take, or, Ten American Directors Stuffed Into a James Finson Suit

    29/04/2017 Duration: 01h06min

Is this Code Lyoko's first real clunker? Mary and Ben say yes, David says maybe. Join us as we meet famed American film director James Finson (we know he's American because he's fat) and discuss Freudian interpretations of slimy alien drool. Oh, and there's also some more nonsense about Bruce Willis. Please note that Return to the Past no longer has a "Clean" rating. Still gonna bleep out swears though. It's like a middle ground.  Click here to find out more about La Seine Musicale, the gorgeous new concert venue that just opened on the former site of the real-life factory! http://en.codelyoko.fr/index2.php?page=lirenews&id_news=1935  Click here to see the Vince McMahon power walk. Opener: "Un Monde Sans Danger" by Franck Keller and Ygal Amar Outro: "S'envoler" by Herman Martin, Serge Tavitan, and The Subdigitals

  • RttP #7 - Image Problem, or, Yumi Ishiyama: Civil War

    19/04/2017 Duration: 01h21min

In this episode, XANA completely blindsides the entire Lyoko Gang by attempting to impersonate a human being and doing remarkably poor work of it, despite completely fooling the group up until the very last moment. But then, why does he drive an emotional wedge in the group in the first place, when he could do so many more destructive things? Is XANA a cold and calculating being, always trying new plans when the old ones don't work, or is he angry and vengeful, forever trying to hurt the Warriors? Or is he just a dumb computer program? The answer unfortunately is that it's really inconsistent and we just don't know.  Anyway, here's Image Problem, the episode where a Yumi clone tries to get her mack on with Jeremie and also some other stuff happens! (And it's the first writing credit for Mary's personal hero for this series, Bruno Regeste.) • RttP #6 - Cruel Dilemma, Special Creepy Genius Edition

    15/04/2017 Duration: 01h12min

At long last, the first truly great episode of Code Lyoko arrives! (Unfortunately, this episode of RTTP is no less terrible than the rest.) THRILL as Jeremie and Aelita exchange G-rated double entendres! GAPE as David cracks up Ben and Mary with jokes that would get groans in a kindergarten classroom! BEHOLD as we barrel down weird tangents about juggalos! Caution: contains awkward references to the capital-P Problematic late seventies sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. Questions? Comments? • RttP #5 - Big Bug, or, Joyeux Poisson d'Avril

    06/04/2017 Duration: 01h04min

What does XANA have in common with Skynet (well, other than the ridiculously obvious, we mean)? What do Ben's nipples have in common with Smash Mouth's hit single, All-Star? And which of our humble hosts has the cutest dimples? Tune in to episode five to find out! Questions? Comments? Email us at rttppodcast@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter at @rttppodcast. • RttP #4 - Log Book, Live from the Intersection of Lincoln and Franklin

    29/03/2017 Duration: 49min

Apologies for the less-than-great audio from Mary and David in this episode, but we were recording in THE SAME ROOM which was a great arrangement for all parties concerned. Log Book - an episode that David rightfully remembered as great and Mary and Ben were taken to task on. On today's show we tackle the big questions: How much character development can one show fit into a Speed homage? What the heck were the ONE pair of street names we had to remember for our Americanization goof? What does Ben REALLY think of Odd/Aelita? How do electric cars work? Questions? Comments? • RttP #3 - Holiday in the Fog, or, The Closest Thing to Bruce Willis

    22/03/2017 Duration: 01h16min

In this episode, Ulrich, Jim, and Sissi are trapped in a closet as a toxic fog spreads rapidly throughout the school. Coincidentally, a fog also spreads rapidly through Mary, Ben, and David's skulls as they try to think of something, anything, remarkable to say about this utterly unremarkable Code Lyoko episode. • RttP #2 - Seeing is Believing, or, Flight of the Foxtrot Fanatics

    08/03/2017 Duration: 01h54s

Only two episodes in and already there's singing and dancing (ball's in your court, Joss Whedon). Join the RTTP crew as we discuss underrated vegetables, fail to identify French public safety workers, and react to unexpected emotions we thought we'd never feel again - all right here in Seeing is Believing!  Questions? • RttP Episode #1: Teddygozilla, or, What The Heck Is Goin' On

    01/03/2017 Duration: 01h48min

In Code Lyoko's debut episode, an evil computer demon turns a teddy bear into a kaiju. What could be more relatable to our audience of millennial tweens? Check out OUR debut episode for all the context the series itself utterly fails to provide! And yes, it's spelled "Teddygozilla." No D. Despite what we said in this episode, we do have a Twitter!
