Hoge 'n' Smith

PodClast returns after a 6 month hiatus , and this episode was worth the wait...well if you were waiting for a discussion about how Cla and Bruce Springsteen are kindred spirits in they way that they both think Bruce Springsteen is  a fraud , about how Hoge,s great grand father went to join the priesthood in New Zealand and Instead joined partying down and how Cla learned about the unknown secret cubicle etiquette public toilets. So if you were waiting for that , then damn son.. you came to the right place.

The boys are joined by long time listener first time /second time guest Miriam Walsh and it could not have come at a better time. Cla discusses his most resent dalliance with the opposite sex and gets some advice off Miriam..but the advice is made redundant by the appearance of a damn dog. They discuss Sopranos again but end up getting Lost, and Miriam tells the lads about motherhood , something that John Hogan will never experience but Cla is still holding out for.

In this episode , Cla and Hoge sit down and try to help Cla figure out if an old flame from his military days still has a eyes for him. The boys fall into a heated debate about...aaah Cuckold.... or is it Cockhold? Cla argues that  Starbucks in Limerick needs  some soundproofing, while Hoge talks Succession and Cla ponders how some people lose sight of their ugly, balding selves as they get older

PodClast has made it to episode 15 and in this edition , Cla and Hoge discuss how to prevent the obesity epidemic that is coming after this pandemic. All it takes is constant ribbing....of the slagging kind now, not of the beef kind. Cla discusses how even in his dreams...he cant really dream, the boys express there love for McGruber.....its very creepy if your not a fan 

Jody O Sullivan joins to boys from boston on the 1st transatlantic PodClast.  He tells whats really going on in America...apparently its not much. Cla and Hoge discuss Christoper Nolan's new film Tenet . Cla argues about how stupid and needlessly complicated Christoper Nolan's films are , in such stupid and needlessly complicated way , that it could be the plot of a Christoper Nolan film. Also what makes a hero?? ....apparently getting lost at see does

Hoge finally reveals the answer to the most pressing of question that Has plagued the PodClast since its inception, Why didn't Lyndon B  Johnson run for a 2nd term?....and its going to rock your world.  Hoge tells Cla about his island hopping around the east coast, Cla asks who can you make love to someone with the same haircut as you , tells a tale about a women who struck the ground and a vagabond who struck gold

The boys pay their respect to Irish legends Jack Charlton and also to middle eastern barbers. Cla discuses what price would you pay to save a shit situation. Hoge tells us about his shake down in an Nigerian airport. The boys get into the weeds of the new smash hit tv show CLA. Bumble , a new dating app that Cla tries out creeps him out and Hoge tells us about a date he went on with the daughter of J Edger Hoover

Cla tells Hoge about a tear-jerking romantic date he had in the village of love...Ennis. The boys discuss how only real spoofers can  spoof, this conclusion is drawn from their own car crash entries into the spoof world. Cla figures out how to get to the top of the comedy pyramid in Ireland. There is also a ground breaking reveal from Hoge that's going to shock the world of one longtime listener to the Podclast.

In episode 10 Cla and hoge discuss how an evil twin can actually corrupt the good twin and then become the not as evil as the  other twin. Who’s the better man Woody Allen or ahhh...Hitler. How Freddie Mercury fooled the world ,shame on the world really and also how return trips after a heavy defeat in rugby  can actually be the best crack.

In episode 9 Cla experiences a real touch of cloth he also tells Hoge how not only were lives lost in the gangland feud of 2003 but also places in the queue for Hawaiian Burgers. Hoge outlines his proposal for the soon to be the ,most disliked thing on television 'Cla'....he also experience the miracle of birth, with ehhh.. Ducks. also Sunglasses are back in fashion thanks to cla, and the boys discuss how to live life to the fullest...AND it does not involve scooters and cocaine
