On this episode of the D.T.F podcast Sam dissects the classic 1984 movie "Ghostbusters" and the new 2016 reboot, "Ghostbusters". Both movies full of talent and studio support but with two very different outcomes. Sam tries to answer why the movies feel so different and why there was so much controversy from a silly supernatural comedy. A story involving two generations of racism, sexism and studio involvement that culminated in MASS HYSTERIA!

This time the boys dissect the complexity of Dave Chappelle's "Chappelle Show" in one sketch titled the "Racial Draft". Sam & Matt question the depth at which the writers and Dave himself purposefully went into with this one. From racist to racial, fun to fundamental, systematic to silly this sketch has more in it then whats on the surface.

On this episode of "Just A Tad" Sam tackles the misogynistic idea that women are not funny by looking at articles, interviews, and a documentary that have explored it before. He dissects the possible origins of this idea and the ramification that continue to ripple out from such a pervasive philosophy. Sam also challenges himself to find a kernel of truth in the idea that women are not as funny as men.

After listening to an episode of FOX news from 2007, Sam manages to pull some real comedic meaning from such an obscure segment. His Las Vegas based, San Fransisco born act had equal parts pizazz and subversiveness from both cities. Today Sam dissects how using the well know troupes of magic and stand up comedy allowed the Amazing Johnathan to hook the audience into his chaotic Brain. On this episode of "Just a Tad" Sam dissects a childhood movie that became his first self discovered piece of art, the bock office bomb that was 'Dirty Work'. Despite this late 90's comedy being panned by critics and ignored by the public it managed to sneak it's way into becoming a cult classic. Sam pontificates on why it wasn't a more universal hit when it was armed with an intellectual script and immature punchlines.

In Episode one Sam dove into the history and lore behind Don's illustrious career as a Vegas legend and Hollywood starlet darling.
