To many, church membership is equal with having your name in the Book of Life. But Church membership is so much more than that. Today we discover biblical church membership.

While most people in America have some sort of familiarity with baptism and communion, many people don’t know WHY these traditions exist. Today we discover what the Bible says about both of these significant practices.

TIME & TALENTS are gifts to please the King, point others to Him, & build up our faith family. And if that’s true, we must ask ourselves this question: “Am I giving God my best…or my leftovers?”

The Church is fueled by people who volunteer their time, talents, and treasure to further the message of Jesus both locally and globally. Today we discover how we can team together to GIVE & GO.

Why do most churches gather on Sundays if the Sabbath is really a Saturday? Why spend so much time reading & teaching from ancient writings from ancient cultures? And why do churches spend time singing songs together like some sort of big choir?

Imagine this is your FIRST TIME at church...ever. What are some of the questions you might have? For those new to church, these are some real questions that need answers. For those familiar with church - let’s be reminded WHY we do WHAT we do…and YOU.

As we nominate candidates for DEACONS, it is important we understand what role they play and what characteristics they must display. But we would each do well to ask another question: “Are these characteristics true of ME?”

We conclude The Gospel According to John with a story encouraging those of us who have denied Jesus (in actions, words, or thoughts) to respond to the Lord’s life-giving command: “Follow Me.”

Today we see dig up the cornerstone of Christian claims, that the death of Jesus was not the end; He’s Alive! IF this story is TRUE, its power shouldn’t be diluted just because you are familiar with it.

Today we finally see the Lamb of God fulfill His mission as the Crucified King; and we are reminded what the Cross communicates: sin is serious, people are precious, & God is gracious.

Today we discover why God allowed the Sinless Savior to be BETRAYED by a deceitful disciple and arrogant authorities.

The late Francis Schaeffer called the unity of the church "the final apologetic" to our watching world. If our UNITY is the ultimate argument that what we believe about Jesus is TRUE, then what does our disunity demonstrate? Let’s live in ONEness!

Contrary to the main message of prosperity preachers, Jesus told His disciples to expect tough times, opposition, & persecution. But…Jesus also promised the Presence of the Holy Spirit, to walk with His disciples through both the good & difficult days to come.

If someone asked you for the evidence of your relationship with Jesus, what would you say? Today we discover that our culture’s definition of a Christian is very different from how Jesus defined His disciples.

Jesus made several incredible promises to His disciples just hours before He was arrested & crucified. And THEIR promises are OUR promises too!

To “live like a king” means to live extravagantly, but that’s NOT what it means to live like THE King. Today, we discover the difference, as King Jesus demonstrates what He expects of His followers

Today we hear Jesus’ last words to the people of Jerusalem, just before He is arrested and crucified. The hour has come to demonstrate the love & justice of God.

Jesus didn’t enter Jerusalem as a conquering king on a warhorse. Instead, Jesus road a donkey - a humble burden bearer, a picture of what He had come to do. The hour has come for the Prince of Peace to accomplish His mission.

Of the all the signs confirming the claims of Jesus, the raising of Lazarus is the pinnacle proof that Jesus is “the Resurrection & the Life.”
