We discuss the power of video in the classroom and solve one of the biggest problems with a tiny, yet powerful little attachment. Apps to explore in this episode include SnappyCam, Spin It and The Human Body App. Finally we finish with a PE Teacher who's embraced the power of social networks for professional development in a big way.

    After a whirlwind workshop series throughout Asia, I'm back with a new episode focusing on all the latest tools & apps finding there way into the PE Classroom. In this episode, we explore the incredible app 'Book Creator' and how it works as as a portfolio tool. We test the Active Gaming app Pop Flux with a group of young students and finally discuss the new app Jump It. Later on in the episode we talk about how a school in Shanghai, China have been using the iPad in the PE classroom fully immersed in water, with incredible results. As always we finish with a PE Teacher on Twitter, one of the original #pegeeks, who's contributed extensively to the community over the years.

    In this episode we look at the small and sometimes invisible technologies that have eliminated once difficult tasks. We take a look at a must have item, the iPad Tripod and how it enables hands free feedback. Apps showcased in this episode include Bam Video Delay and sprintTimer. In the laster part of the episode we also look at the FREE 5 minute warm up activity that my students are now going crazy for. Finally, we acknowledge the work of a passionate Physical Educator we can all learn from.
