Steve Jones Show

SJS HR 1 - Steve says, "Eagles are a mess. Their two young defensive linemen from Georgia have been now shows." Matt Catrillo agrees with Steve's assement. In the second half, we discuss today's bowl schedule and what to expect from the Nittany Lions football team the rest of the week.

Blue White Illustrated's Nate Bauer talks about Penn State football's new coordinators and Penn State men's basketball. Bauer said "For those that think (Coach James) Franklin is involved in the offense. He doesn't have time. Both coordinators run thing on their respective side of the ball."

BWI's Mark Brennan talks about Penn State's recruiting haul from Wednesday. Brennan says "What you saw on Wednesday was the result of a lot of hard work. ... It took years and years of work. The kids that signed on Wednesday the coaches have been involved with since 2020."

  Steve takes questions from callers about anything. Then the King joins the show for picks and some college football bowl talk.

Steve is joined by Mark Brennan and they discuss Penn State recruiting. Later in the hour, Nate Bauer talks Penn State football and basketball.

Neal Coolong joins the show and says that "changes need to be made in the WR room" and also talks about how much of a distraction George Pickens has become.

Ole Miss PBP Announcer David Kullem Joins the show and talks about Ole Miss and how they stack up against Penn State and how excited he is for the Peach Bowl

Hour 2 - Neal Coolong says that Mitch Trubisky's preformance was "A career ender" and says the Steelers need to make changes during the off season at WR.

Wednesday 12/20/23 Hour 1 - Steve talks about National Signing day and the 2024 recruiting class for Penn State. Plus Ole Miss PBP Broadcaster David Kellum joins the show and talks about the Successes of Ole Miss and what it will be like to play Penn State in the Peach Bowl.

Steve discusses the Tom Allen hire as defensive coordinator at Penn State. Steve says "Jack Ham and I discussed names for the defensive coordinator when it looked like Manny (Diaz) was headed to Duke. Tom's name was the first name we thought."

Steve Jones Show Hour 1 - Matt Catrillo joins Steve to discuss the rant of the week about the Eagles. Then Steve says "I can see with his history that Simpson might get one game, but the rest of the season seems excessive."

Wes Durham of the ACC Network "It's been a frustrating year for Florida State, and it caused the ACC to see its life flash before its eyes

Ryan Snyder of On3.com talks Penn State football recruiting and Wednesday's Signing Day "It's balanced class, not a position where Penn State would need to add players." Snyder also said, "Julian Fleming is not giving any indication of where he is going in transfer portal."

Steve Jones Show HR 2 - Wes Durham of the ACC Network joins the show and Steve says "I'm in favor of giving college teams one (replay) challenge like the kind the NBA uses."
