Synopsis

Dave's Disney View - a look at Walt Disney World... I have a lot to say about Disney, having been a regular visitor since WDW opened...I was a one-time CM, and found a great love for the imagination and wonder of it all....heck its why I studied engineering. My goal is to provide short podcasts (they are all between 15-30 minutes) covering topics that I find interesting that I find interesting from around "the world."

Episodes

  • Episode #379 - a drive by disney world.

    07/09/2020 Duration: 21min

I happened to be in Orlando a week or so ago, and took a short drive around property. It was interesting to say the least, so I talk about it. I’m also introducing a new segment I’m calling “one little spark” as kind of a call to action for things we can do to be more engaged in societal issues. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Episode #374 - managing through closures

    06/05/2020 Duration: 29min

I gave up my annual pass. And at the moment, things are looking not-so-rosy for theme parks in the immediate future - because there’s still a lot of uncertainty.  I listened in to the 2Q earnings call, and have something to say about what I heard. And of course, I’ve got some more thoughts about it. Plus I hit on a couple of news items that are a little less serious.  Lost (& Found) episode #32 discovery island https://youtu.be/8-88NbS3tss --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message
